I am terribly upset with my entire experience with Eatz Catering. Firstly, they keyed in my order wrongly as 60 pax instead of 50 and when I replied the email to highlight this matter, my email was ignored and I had to call again.
On the day of the buffet, I received a call at 1pm and the delivery man wanted to come either earlier or later than my stipulated timing of 2.30pm. He claims that his schedule states 1.30pm instead. And for collection, I had deliberately called to inform that that it has to be 4.30pm as I have to clear the venue by 5pm. I also informed the deliveryman. Yet, no effort was made to adhere to the timing, and items were only supposedly cleared at 6.30pm as the deliveryman stated in his SMS. To top it all off, the items that came were wrong. Instead of chocolate cake, green tea swiss roll and barley, I received coffee cake, raspberry roll and a lychee drink that tasted bland. It is not just one mistake out of seven orders, but three! The first confirmation email came Without any mention of the total cost nor breakdown of cost. The official invoice also did not come with the food items ordered so it was impossible for either party to verify. The person ordering is not always the person present to collect. Neither is the deliveryman the one who took the orders. I have ordered buffets from various companies countless times, and this is the first time I've encountered an invoice without food items stated and an email without price. The whole experience was highly unprofessional and shocking since I had a good impression of Eatz as quite a reputable company. The prawns and the prawn rolls were soggy. Other than that, the food was great and the service staff was nice and helpful. I thought the set up of the buffet will be at 2.30pm (the time I've stated), but the service staff reached at 2pm. When i asked, they said that this is to ensure that the event can starts at 2.30pm sharp. I was grateful for the thoughtfulness. Will order from them again.

I ordered chairs as well as the buffet for my function and needed the chairs to arrive earlier so they could be arranged. The customer service officer on the phone told me the chairs would come at 5pm and the food later, but at 5pm there was no sign of the chairs. I called the hotline to see what happened, a different person told me the chairs were with the food and would arrive at 6pm!
When I told her that was too late, she said she would try to ask the driver to come earlier, hopefully by 5.45pm. The driver made it there by 5.35pm.
