The first bite instantly tells you this isn’t your ordinary cake. Soft, chewy, and delightfully bouncy, the mochi texture makes it so satisfying to eat. The roasted kinako (soybean flour) adds a nutty, fragrant depth that ... More balances beautifully with the subtle sweetness of the cake.

Inside, the red bean filling brings just the right amount of earthy sweetness without being overly heavy. Together, the combination is harmonious—comforting, nostalgic, and very Japanese in flavor.

What I love most is how it’s not overly sweet, making it perfect for an afternoon tea pairing with matcha or even a light coffee. The texture contrast between the chewy mochi and the soft cake is also a standout ,,, though this cake is abit expensive
