1. Seafood Fried Rice
Chinese restaurants outside! Filled with shredded cabbage, spring onion, tomatoes and anchovies,
it gave that special aftertaste and it wasn't too salty nor dry.
As the main course, it will certainly leave guests begging for more!
Rating: 5/5

Now I know from a glance it looks like Sweet and Sour Fish but in this case, it's Sambal Fish Fillet.
Fried Fish soaked in Sambal gravy, garnished with tomatoes, onion and spring onion.
The fish fillet was chewy and the sambal gravy had just the right amount of spice.
The good thing was that the sambal aftertaste doesn't stay on your tongue for long so if you're up
for second servings or more, you can take as many as you like without baring the heat!
Rating: 4/5
3. Lo Han Vegetables
Angel's Restaurant isn't wrong when they said that they believed in cultural diversity and delicacies of a healthy standard.
This dish here is Lo Han Vegetables. Filled with Fried Bean curd, Edamame, Chinese cabbage, chunks of Carrots and so on.
It tasted good as expected, the Chinese Cabbage is soft and chewy as well as the rest of the other vegetables.
Having a balance of dishes will benefit you and your guests.

Ah, the Grilled Satay which is locally known and eaten by many is perfect for any occasion.
I'll have to admit that this is the first time a caterer serves satay on their menu which delighted me.
For that, I had high expectations for this dish. After taking a bite, I realized that the Grilled Satay
was slightly tough in texture as I had a hard time pulling it off from the stick.
Nonetheless, the Satay did go well with the Peanut sauce as it had that
char-grilled flavor and having that sweet aftertaste from the Peanut sauce so it was all worthwhile!

A seafood classic known as the Butter Prawn, a perfectly crisp Prawn with a buttery flavor
layered with lettuce, tomato, and curry leaves.
The prawn had a soft texture after removing the shell and it was also buttery.
Overall, the dish was still pretty decent but I recommend dipping the prawn with any
condiments to give more flavor.
Rating: 3.5/5
7. Mini Cream Puff
What a perfect way to end the buffet with sweet treats!
Their Mini Cream Puffs were light and soft in texture and with just a bite,
the chocolate filling just explodes into your mouth, giving you a sweet sensation to your tastebuds.
Even though I was not sure why the Mini Cream Puffs were displayed with cucumber slices
as a garnish, thankfully it didn't ruin the taste.
Perhaps, the dish can be decorated with something that matches the cream puff or just
placing a white disposable dollie on the plate.
Rating: 4/5
Conclusion
With that, we've come to the end of Angel's Restaurant Buffet Promotion Menu.
Overall, I would give this buffet menu a 4/5.
The dishes were quite decent and unexpecting as I never knew the Grilled Satay would be able to make it to the banquet table
as well as the surprising flavor that came from the Seafood Fried Rice.
The setup was petite in size, which may leave your guests in awe the moment they see it.
Like they always say, expect the unexpected.
