BakeWerkz Review - Finest Pastry & Cakes in Town
We are back with another cake & pastry review! In this article, we will be reviewing Bakewerkz's dessert menu. From adorable jar cakes to mini savoury puffs, there'll definitely be something for you! You can order here.

1) Strawberry yogurt cream 7"
This dainty number was as close as it gets to the perfect strawberry cake. The cake was absolutely delicious! It's a creamy and light tasting strawberry yoghurt mousse cake on a vanilla sponge base, topped with strawberries! Moist, airy, layers of sponge sandwiched between light, not too sweet, generous layers of fresh yoghurt cream. Not to forget, the strawberries were really plump and fresh!
2) Ferrero shortcake
Chocolate lovers will rejoice with this Ferrero Rocher shortcake! The cake was moist and delicious and it is not overly sweet, and has a nice crunch to it. To add on, the cake has different layers with different textures. Every bite was crunchy, creamy and smooth!
3) Swiss roll assorted
We love a good Swiss roll, but it can be hard to find one that has the perfect sponge cake and filling. Sometimes, the sponge cake might be too dry or the filling too paltry. However, these assorted swiss rolls from Bakewerkz were absolutely delicious! It has the perfect cake to filling ratio! The cake was light and fluffy, and the filling was not too sweet.
4) Bottle cake assorted
What a convenient and cute way to eat your cakes! You can take these mini bottle cakes on the go and eat them anywhere you want. Among the assortment of cakes, my favourite would be the Black Forest Cake. It is a chocolate sponge cake with rich cherry filling and it contains an important ingredient, Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, which is distilled from tart Cherry. This ingredient gives the dessert its distinctive cherry pit flavour!
5) Mini puff / Donuts financier
Look at these adorable pastries! The mini donuts were my favourite! It comes in three flavours - Strawberry, Rainbow and Chocolate. The donuts had a light and airy texture and the frosting was just the right amount of sweetness. Moving on, the puff pastries were delectable as well! There was tuna, chicken and curry potato. The crust was crispy and the filling was savoury and yummy!
