Hello! Here we have today, a Premium Buffet Package Review and WOW, I'm honestly impressed with the overall standard.
It’s the warm feeling of coming home to a table full of food and nothing else mattered at that point in time as you only want to indulge in the spread, yes, exactly my experience with Shugar Gourmet. Keep reading as I share with you the bits and pieces of my pleasant experience!
1. Oriental Fried Rice
This plate of Oriental Fried Rice really went far and beyond my expectation of Fried Rice, upon my first bite, you could feel the different seasonings infused and they all compensate so well with each other.
The egg stands out especially, could taste the different textures from the egg and fried rice infused together.
Furthermore, the spring onion further elevates the taste of the fried rice, it feels ado you can never have enough serving of it!

2. Kampong Style Fried Mee Siam
Mee siam is a popular noodle dish among the locals. Bee hoon (rice vermicelli) is mixed with spices and seasoning, then a slightly spicy, sweet, and tart sauce is added.
Basic toppings include egg slices, fried beancurd, sambal, garlic chives, and lime.
Surprisingly, the Mee Siam isn’t dry at all and it is super fragrant and flavorful, each bite makes you yearn for more.

3. Grilled Honey Chicken with Sesame Seed
If you’re looking for a sticky, sweet and savory chicken, look no further because Grilled Honey Chicken with Sesame Seed is here to satisfy you!
Personally, I would recommend pairing it with the fried rice as the sauce might be too 'jelak' for some individuals but each to its own!

4. Breaded Fish Fillet with Tartar Dip
Next up, we have Breaded Fish Fillet with Tartar Dip, I mean who doesn't love the taste and the crunch of a Breaded Fish Fillet?
There is a little textural crunch with every bite and of course, paired with Tartar dip makes a perfect dish served.
We all know the Tartar sauce dip can never go wrong, it just elevates the overall taste of this dish.

5. Sambal Prawn
Next, Sambal Prawn, is a crowd pleaser for any occasion! The sambal usually does its job, it is the most crucial point as the sauce brings a balance of spicy, savory, and tangy flavour.
You will be greeted by the highly aromatic sauce before you even indulge in it! Also, the flesh of the prawn is super fresh, and the tenderness of the flesh is just right.
Got to warn you that it is highly addictive though!

6. Thai Style Beancurd with Sesame Seed
Beancurd is definitely an Asian specialty, at least for me, I grew up eating Beancurd in different variations and I loved them all!
Just take a look at the golden exterior look of the Beancurd, upon the first bite, it gives off a crunchy taste and for its interior, it is soft and sweet.
As for its sauce, it reminds me of the Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce which is simultaneously sweet, savory, tangy, and spicy.
Overall, there is a burst of flavor which comes from the sauce and it is well incorproated with the beancurd.

7. Baby Kailan with Oyster Sauce
Next up, a dish that many will be familiar with, is Baby Kailan with Oyster Sauce. Kailan is a type of vegetable that has firm, juicy stems and delicate leaves.
For some cooking methods, you will still be able to taste the slight bitterness of Kailan but not with Shugar Gourmet, in fact, it tasted sweet which is optimal for everyone's liking. The partial key to its sweetness is the Oyster sauce, the sauce is infused with the aroma and flavor of fried garlic.
Furthermore, it is topped with ingredients like Carrots, Black Fungus, and Mushrooms and these ingredients are a great combination for Kailan.

8. Golden Mini Spring Roll with Sweet Sauce
Golden Mini Spring Roll, is another popular dish among the Chinese Household. As soon as I dug into the crunchy spring roll, I could taste the delightful filling and I just couldn't wait to have more of it.
Personally, I prefer the Spring roll by itself as I feel it already tastes good without any condiments but of course, an old classic sweet-based dipping sauce won't go wrong!

9. Mini Chocolate Éclair
For desserts, we have Mini Chocolate Eclairs, a classic chocolate eclair with creamy vanilla pastry cream filling. It isn't too sweet so not to worry!
The fact that it is served in bite-sized makes it extremely convenient for everyone to enjoy and you can easily eat a few pieces without feeling too guilty.
Definitely a crowd-pleaser.

10. Fruit Punch
Don't worry if you feel thirsty because Shugar Gourmet has a tub of Fruit Punch Juice for you!
Fruit Punch definitely can win all your guests' hearts because it is too sweet or too tangy, it has the right taste as it is sweet and fruitty.
Definitely guaranteed to be guzzled by everyone.
