QQ Catering’s Review - Xmas Menus!

“Trust Us, Trust Q” - QQ Catering prides themselves in providing only good food and good quality to their customers. They strongly believe that good food brings people together and that taste is larger than life. We received a few dishes from their Xmas menus and have reviewed them below. Here’s how it went!

Mixed Fruit Salad with Cranberry Mayo (Deluxe Mini Buffet)

What I like about this salad is how it has many varieties of nutritious fruits and vegetables which made me feel super healthy after eating it. The salad is also served with sweet cranberry mayo.

Rating: 4/5

Roasted Farmer Vegetable (Deluxe Mini Buffet)

This is yet another healthy and colourful dish! QQ Catering was generous in their seasoning when cooking this dish as I was able to taste it on each and every vegetable. Moreover, since the vegetables were roasted, there is this sweet, nutty and toasty flavour to them which makes eating vegetables more delicious. Roasting the vegetables also made them super crunchy on the outside!

Rating: 4/5

Rock Sugar BBQ Chicken (Deluxe Mini Buffet)

If you like your chicken to be sweet, you have to try this particular dish. This chicken was cooked with rock sugar, making it taste sweet instead of savoury. Barbecue sauce is also provided for this particular dish and can be either poured or dipped onto the chicken. When the chicken is eaten with barbecue sauce, it gives the chicken a more smoky, peppery and tangy flavour. So if you would like to add a more savoury taste to your chicken, the barbecue sauce helps you to do so!

Rating: 5/5

Baked Tilapia with Garlic Milk Cream (Deluxe Mini Buffet)

If you don’t know what tilapia is, it is a type of fish! And in this dish, the fish is baked and then coated with garlic milk cream. When I took my first bite, the fish was super soft and tender and melted in my mouth easily. The garlic milk cream sauce had a rich, creamy and garlicky flavour - which goes well altogether.

What I like about the garlic milk cream sauce is that although there is garlic inside, which can be pretty overpowering in some dishes, it is not the case for this dish. This means that it does not leave you with a bad breath!

Rating: 5/5

Black Pepper Sauce Spaghetti (Value Mini Buffet)

This black pepper spaghetti is a simple dish that tastes amazing. The black pepper seasoning created a rich coating for the al dente spaghetti. The seasoning was just nice and not too much - which is not too hot and does not have an overwhelming aroma. The mushrooms were chewy and bell peppers were crunchy as well, and they added more flavours to the black pepper spaghetti.

Rating: 4/5

Squid Cheese Net Ball (Value Mini Buffet)

These squid cheese balls were so addictive I kept going for more! No kidding. First of all, I would like to talk about how the squid cheese balls look. It has a very unique-looking texture as the balls were fried to look like a net. As it’s fried, it’s super crispy that once you bite into it, the crunch sound can be heard clearly. Tastewise, it was simply delicious as the taste of both the crispy squid fried skin and cheese complements each other. This dish is also served with mayonnaise on the side which makes the dish even yummier as it adds a tangy and creamy flavour to the already delicious squid cheese balls.

Rating: 5/5

As usual, time to choose my favourite dish! This time it goes to… Squid Cheese Net Ball! I can go on and on about how delicious it tastes but rather than doing that, I urge everyone to order your Xmas menus from QQ Catering to know what I’m blabbering about!
