Robert Catering's Tasty Meal Buffet Review
Hi guys! I am back with yet another full buffet review!
Today, I will be reviewing Robert Catering's Tasty Meal Buffet for $10.80/Pax
which had satisfy my colleague and I from the start to the end so let's get started!
1. Yong Chow Fried Rice
flavorful but the moment I took a bite of it, I was quite impressed with the rice as it had
a nice taste with the Chicken Floss that
gave an extra boost of flavor to the rice. The only improvement that could be made to this dish is to add in
scrambled eggs or sliced omelets to give out that egg flavor in the rice then it will be perfect.
Rating: 4/5
2. Sin Chow Bee Hoon
My first thought when I see a plate of Bee Hoon is that it will be dry and won't be as good
compared to other noodle dishes.
Well, their Sin Chow Been Hoon proved me wrong as there was a good amount of flavor and seasoning.
It was not as dry as I thought, with the additional toppings of fried beancurd and vegetables,
it will certainly give you an enjoyable experience.
Rating: 4/5

I am sure we have all grown up eating this dish. While the Golden Egg Beancurd is a comfort food to many, my take on this dish was just average.
The beancurd had an expected taste as it should be, the texture of the beacurd was soft and juicy and was not too oily.
I would have much preferred it to have the usual vegetables instead of using bell peppers as it does
not entirely fit the taste well. The onions on the other hand was good and crunchy. Nonetheless,
it was a decent dish that should not be missed.

4. Lemon Fish

Among all lemon fish dishes, this is by far the best one I've ever tasted! The taste of the citrusy aftertaste
after a bite from the fish was on point. The only thing that was lacking in this dish was the crunchiness of the fish as it was
slightly soggy and chewy. Overall, I would say it's a good attempt to have a citrusy fish out of the
ordinary fish that will definitely give you a sour taste, literally but in a good way!

5. Butter Prawn
When you think of Tempura, you think of prawn. That was exactly it but the mini version of a tempura
with a touch of butter.
This Butter Prawn is covered with bread crumbs to give that crunch and flakiness from the prawn
the moment you bite it and I must say, it did turn out well in terms of the appearance and taste as it was not too
buttery neither was dry. I would recommend to dip into a couple of condiments such as the
Mayonnaise or Ketchup to get some extra punch.
Rating: 4/5
6. Curry Chicken
Ah, nothing could go wrong with Curry Chicken and it's a local dish among many that there are several ways of eating it
but that's for another time. Back to the review, the Chicken Curry looked heavenly so after indulging,
I was impressed by the flavor and it was not too spicy for me. The chicken was tender in texture
and the potatoes were just as good as well. Everything was spot on so if you are looking for good Curry Chicken,
Robert Catering is the one caterer to go to!
Rating: 4.5/5

What a cool and refreshing way to end the buffet with some good cold dessert. The Honeydew Sago was not too sweet
and the honeydew melon was soft in texture. A perfect dessert to cool you on down on a hot summer day.

That is the end of my food review. Overall, Robert Catering's Tasty Meal Buffet had stunned me in so many ways that I
couldn't possibly imagine. The dishes had good standards in terms of flavor and texture especially
the Lemon Fish which I am still blown away till now. If you intend to have a small or a private event,
Robert Catering is the one to go to which is only $10.80/Pax!
