Team Catering Review - A Homely and Delicious Christmas Feast

Team Catering has always been a really solid caterer with excellent ratings on our website. It's no surprise that they have come up with a banging, lip-smacking Christmas menu too! This appetizer platter comes with a myriad of cold dishes that you can snack on before feasting on the mains! It includes slices of honey-baked turkey ham, mini cocktail sausages, and mixed cold fruits. The ham was delicious and it doesn't have that cheap processed meat taste that other cold cuts reek of. There was a generous portion of sausages and they taste great too! The cold fruits were a hit as well, and you can taste the freshness and sweetness in them. Overall rating: 5/5

This dish, as the name implies, is spaghetti with crab meat. The portion was also huge with large chunks of crab meat. Although the food had to be delivered to us, the noodles didn't dry out in transit and the pasta was al-dente as well! The crab meat makes the whole dish that much more flavourful. The entire dish was also seasoned perfectly with herbs and spices, and it all pairs well with the other dishes in the set. Overall rating: 4.5/5

The Chic on the Stone is a whole large roasted chicken served with baked stone potatoes in brown sauce. This dish is probably the main star of the mini buffet set, and it perfectly encapsulates the whole Christmas feast vibe. The meat was moist, succulent, and well-seasoned. The potatoes are also tasty. The sauce ties everything together and it's not too salty as well, unlike cheaper sauces that get "jelak" when you have too much of it. Overall rating: 5/5

I can't think of a more well-fitting name for this dish! So-Fish-Ticated is basically a baked herb-crusted salmon dish. The portion is huge as well and the fish is perfectly seasoned. The crust of the dish provides some exciting textures and flavours to a dish that might be boring to some. The flesh of the salmon is soft and succulent, and you can taste how fresh it is too! Squeeze some lemon or citrus on it and you're good to go! Overall rating: 4.5/5

The greens of this set would be the Aspara-Gusto! It's basically sauteed asparagus paired with some assorted mushrooms. Even if you grew up hating vegetables, I highly recommend you to try this dish! It's very flavourful and tastes amazing too. The asparagus was fresh and they had that perfect crunchy yet soft texture. The mushrooms were also cooked perfectly and it pairs well with the greens too. Overall rating: 4.5/5

These Mexican spices chicken wings are a perfect addition to the whole Christmas set! The meat is moist and juicy and they are perfectly seasoned too. If you can't take spicy food, rest assured as this dish isn't spicy at all. The only bad part about this dish is that it'll keep you coming back for more! Overall rating: 4.5/5
