The ONE Bake Shop Review - Cupcake Flower Bouquet, Avocado Cake and more!

If you're looking for something special and out of the norm, The ONE Bake Shop is literally the one for you! We were given four of their amazing bakes to try and we were not disappointed. In fact, they offer a variety of baked goodies that are super unique and are sure to impress your party guests or loved ones!

Avocado Lemon Cake

The first item we tried was the Avocado Lemon Cake. We were all intrigued by the combination and were super excited to dig into the cake!

The cake had a rustic exterior - Thin Lemon Slices topped with fresh, red strawberries. Simple things always look better!

When we dug in, we were pleasantly surprised by the soft, fluffy texture of the cake. There was a subtle lemon taste in addition to the avocado flavour. It is a definite must have cake for avocado lovers and for those who just want a healthy cake to snack on!

Bouquet of Flowers Cupcake

This was our favourite in terms of presentation! Move over fresh flowers, now you can give an EDIBLE cupcake bouquet that look just as lovely and doubles up as a snack! This gorgeous bouquet comes with 6 vanilla cupcakes frosted with silky buttercream in hues of baby pink and pale cream. This is guaranteed to wow your girlfriend or your mother, putting both a smile on their faces and bellies!

In terms of taste, these cupcakes are of a denser texture. So for those of you who prefer light and fluffy cupcakes, the Rainbow Cake might be the one for you but we'll talk more about that later. Overall, these cupcakes are not overly sweet and the ratio of buttercream to cake is just perfect!

Kit Kat M&Ms Chocolate Cake

Just like its name suggests, this cake is OVERLOADED with chocolates. The entire cake is wrapped around in Kit Kat bars and flooded with M&Ms at the top. Also, the interior cake is made with rich chocolate. With every bite, its a chocolate fantasy! Yay to Kit Kat M&Ms Cake!

Rainbow Cake

The final cake we tried was their best selling Rainbow Cake on FoodLine! This Rainbow cake is both colourful on the inside and outside. The various coloured buttercream is meticulously piped over every inch of the interior rainbow sponge cake and it just looks so amazing!

When we cut into the cake, we were greeted by super even rainbow layers that were a delight to eat. This sponge cake is not the fluffiest sponge cake we have tasted, but still soft and yummy.

Overall, our stomachs were all really happy with The ONE Bake Shop's cakes and we would definitely want to order from them again! A definite 5 gold stars for them!
