With the fantastic news of McDonaldâs coming back for business, all the McSpicy lovers can reunite with their burgers for good!
McDonaldâs opened their first restaurant in Singapore in 1979 and today, they have over 120 McDonaldâs restaurants with around 9,000 employees. McDonaldâs humble beginnings began in 1917 and today, it has grown to more than 34,000 restaurants in over 118 countries.
Have you ever wondered why is McDonaldâs so loved globally?
One more important aspect of McDonaldâs is their adaptation to situation.
For example, the prosperity burger is only on the menu during Chinese New Year, which makes it limited since itâs a seasonal item that customers have to anticipate and yearn for it to come.

The McDonaldâs in each country has different menus to cater to the different cultural taste.
Our neighbouring country, Malaysia, itâs McDonaldâs menu is a little different from ours. Our McWings comes in 4 pieces in a box, while for Malaysia, their chicken is called Ayam Goreng McD and it comes with only 2 in the box.
Although McDonald is worldwide famous, their menus for each country is unique and it caters to the taste of the people there which makes it so successful.
For example, green curry, a unique dish in Thailand, was incorporated into pie and was a seasonal item at Thailandâs McDonaldâs.
