Professional and Punctual, Food Quality Could Be Better Reviewed on 21st Feb 2026 Verified Purchase I engaged Hock Hoe Heng Catering for my event. The service was excellent — they were professional, responsive, and delivery was punctual. Everything arrived on time as promised, which I really appreciated. Overall the food was okay. Most dishes ... More were decent, but the pork dish was quite tough and seemed overcooked, making it difficult to chew and swallow. I ended up not eating much of it. Service-wise it was great, though there is room for improvement in food consistency. CNY Happy & Prosperous Family Meal Reviewed on 25th Feb 2026 Verified Purchase The delivery was right on time for lunch. Portions were just right. A Happy Reunion Gathering At Home with  Hock Hoe Heng Cateri Reviewed on 16th Feb 2026 Verified Purchase First of all , I want to give a shout out to the caterer for allowing me to change my order set shortly after I made my order. Overall the food delivered was decently good, The four treasure lotus leaf rice wrap looked ordinary but everyone ... More was impressed when they ate it. Everyone commented it tasted deliciously good, As grouper fish is another dish to compliment. While not all dishes impressed the guests with a big "WOW", the food was considered good on the average. Repeated order. Reviewed on 27th Jan 2026 Verified Purchase Delivery came an hour earlier. Food is properly packed and delivered in good condition. Cutlery and tissue provided. My 2nd time ordering from them. Response from caterer is prompt to clarify that the promotion of grouper fish is an upgrade of fish ... More option, rather than an add on. Food is delicious, but not the cereal fish which is dry and is coated with too much flour than fish Show less Happiness Delight (Serves 8-10pax) Favourite dish: Yam paste desert First time ordering from merchant: No Will recommend this merchant: Yes

Spoilt Yusheng was served Reviewed on 21st Jan 2026 Verified Purchase By far, my worst experience catering through Foodline. Nobody contacted me to confirm the order and we only managed to call and get a respond that the food is arriving 15min before the event started. The packaging and display needed ... More improvement. The food did not look appealing for the price paid per pax. The yusheng was terrible!!! I ordered an extra portion and both were missing the sliced abalones. The oil used for the yusheng tasted very bad, which ruined the entire tray of yusheng when mixed. I had so much complaints from the guests during the event. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, and we understand how important every detail is for an event. For clarity, the food and setup were delivered on time for your 12:00 pm ... More event, and the Yu Sheng was freshly prepared on the same day at approximately 10:30 am. While the Yu Sheng was delivered, we acknowledge your dissatisfaction regarding the missing abalone slices and taste preference. Following the event, our team made multiple follow-up phone calls to check in and ensure everything was agreeable and satisfactory. As a gesture of goodwill, we also refunded the full amount for the Yu Sheng, despite the item being delivered and the issue relating only to the missing abalone slices. We take all feedback seriously and will continue improving our quality checks, presentation, and communication. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Show less

Great value decent taste for 10 pax non-halal catering. Reviewed on 19th Jan 2026 Verified Purchase Food came 1 hour before stated event time, which is good. Ordered for 10 pax. ~$210 with delivery. Was looking for a non-halal caterer to deliver for smaller pax event. Guests were quite satisfied with the food overall. Food generally not salted ... More that much and likely not much shortcuts used (MSG/Chicken Powder), which is a good thing for us. Will consider ordering again in the future. Food wise: Yang Chow Fried Rice 扬州炒饭 - Decent for me. No wok hei. Not very well seasoned (not salty). Tastes like a home-cooked fried rice. The blander profile is actually a good thing as the other dishes can complement it. Pan Fried Sambal Prawns 干煎辣虾 - Flavourful. Prawns not the freshest but acceptable. Teohchew Crispy Prawn Roll 潮州虾枣 - Mini ngoh hiang balls with sweet sauce. I liked this a lot and found myself drizzling the sweet sauce on other things also. Cereal Fish Fillet 麦片鱼片 - Decent. Not a lot of fish meat (more batter than fish). Pandan Leaf Chicken 香兰鸡 - Very good. I honestly didn't know what pandan chicken is. About 1 inch cube of chicken thigh/leg with lots of spices/sambal. Tastes like satay. Chicken was very succulent. Hakka Pork Ribs with Yam 芋头排骨 foodline - Decent. This dish is also not heavily seasoned. Meat is not falling off bone but also not tough.
