Food and service were ok, but could be improved Reviewed on 3rd Jan 2020 Verified Purchase Catering set-up took an hour; which we felt was too long. Our event time was 7pm. Caterer arrived near 6.35pm, finished setting up at 7.35pm. Our guests were kept waiting as 7pm was our event time. As a result, guests commented food was not warm ... More initially; probably due to insufficient heating time as everyone was hungry, scooped the food readily when caterer finished setting up. This was our 3rd time ordering from Liang Food Caterer and previous 2 times were always very fast and efficient. Probably staff this time was inexperienced; but he was polite nevertheless. Food overall was ok; however the Sotong Ngor Hiang was terribly salty. Guests also commented the Sweet & Sour Fish was also rather salty and somewhat soggy. Quantity of Fried Ebi prawn was insufficient. Only 20 guests (out of 32 pax we had ordered for) got to taste the Ebi prawn. Spaghetti was rather cold - suggestion to have it placed on top of burners too, even with our request of having it served separately from the sauce. Otherwise, food overall was ok. Would have preferred it to be less salty overall. Service was friendly and polite nevertheless.
