Late for more than an hour, food not as good as last year's

Reviewed on 11th Feb 2024 Verified Purchase

My second year ordering from this caterer but this year was disappointing. Food was supposed to be served at 6pm but it only arrived at 7.10pm. It was our family reunion dinner but food was late and arrived cold. Portion for 10 pax wasn't as good as ... More last year's, and taste also not that nice. Out of so many dishes, only the Steamed Seabass was nice.

Impressive Menu but Disappointing Food

Reviewed on 24th Jan 2023 Verified Purchase

Food came abt 40 mins earlier than stated time. Some food was already cold when delivered. The menu looks quite impressive but actual food was quite a let-down. Ee-Fu noodles was more like "yi mian". Did not see any asparagus in the vege dish ... ... More mainly only broccoli, carrot and "fake abalone". Beef in stew was hard and not nice. Crispy prawn ball dish is more like prawn salad. Emperor Dang Gui Chicken is so dry, hardly any gravy. Only the Crispy Buttered Snapper Fish Fillet with Double Salted Egg Crumble is not bad, though it's also not crispy. Last year I ordered from another caterer, paid less but the food was much better. Probably the last time we will order from this caterer.

Affordable and good, should give it a try.

Overall setup was nice with small touches that fit the theme/occasion + arrived on time. Food was good quality and at $10 per pax is very affordable. Unfortunately, they were out of ice lemon tea option but contacted early to make a swap. Drinks was ... More good and tasted home-made, unlike like those cordial kind. Even provided

CNY Reunion Dinner: Home Cooked Style.

1st time ordering from them. Ordered because their menu were unique & different other caterer. Definitely happy with this choice as all their dishes were really delicious and tasty. All the dishes taste just right, not too salty nor too sweet for ... More the desserts & drinks. Love all of them and definitely would order from them again. The food came late as delivery person went to the wrong housing estate & realised the mistake after calling me. However, he did apologised to us profusely on his arrival
