25 Grams Review - Who Said Vegan Cakes Weren't Yummy? They're AMAZING!

It is quite hard to find bakeries that serve vegan and gluten free cakes but here at FoodLine, we have 25grams, a bakery that fits the bill!

The sound of vegan cakes might be a turn off for some, but after trying these cakes, our mindset on these type of desserts took a 180 degree change! These cakes taste AMAZING, and might even be better than many non-vegan bakeries out there!

Vegan Strawberry Vanilla Cake

This Strawberry Vanilla cake is made out of strawberry buttercream layered within soft, pillowy vanilla cakes. The simple rosettes provide a rustic feel and the sprinkled rim add a little fun factor to this cake's whole look!

The buttercream wasn't overly sweet nor overwhelming. 25grams truly knows the perfect cake to buttercream ratio! Also, this buttercream is made out of strawberry puree so you know you are getting quality buttercream and not some artificial flavoured one.

Overall, when you take a bite out of this cake, you get a delicious burst of strawberry and vanilla in your mouth! Definitely recommended to try!

Vegan and Gluten Free Chocolate Cake

Chocolate cake smothered in Chocolate ganache, this cake will wow all chocolate lovers!

The moment we opened the box to take the cake out, we could already smell the richness of the chocolate! For this cake, you can also opt for other buttercream options but we feel that chocolate on chocolate would definitely be the best combination!

This cake gives off rustic vibes as well, with loads of exotic looking flowers sprinkled on the top.

Vegan Mango Brown Sugar Cake

This cake is our definite favourite among all the other delicious bakes from 25grams!

You can really taste the mango in the buttercream which goes REALLY well with the brown sugar cake.

Its soft, its sweet and perfect for mango lovers like me! Just look at that delicious slice of mango brown sugar cake! Once you give this a try, you'll want to come back for more!

Assorted Cupcakes

Apart from baking whole cakes, 25grams also makes really good cupcakes in both vegan and non vegan versions! The ones we managed to get were non vegan and it came in a variety of yummy flavours.

We highly recommend these 2 flavours - Choux Puffs and Lemon Blueberry!

Lemon Blueberry is a soft, fluffy lemon cupcake with a surprise blueberry centre!

Meanwhile, Choux Puffs was something we have never seen before, several mini choux puffs atop a cupcake base! Super cute!

We highly recommend everyone to check 25grams out, even if you are not vegan! Their cakes definitely beat several other bakeries and is worth your money despite being slightly costly.
