Bowl & Bowl Fried Rice Review – Awesome Fried Rice Cooked by Robots

Bowl & Bowl Fried Rice Review – Awesome Fried Rice Cooked by Robots

Ever dreamt of having robots in our daily lives when you were a kid? Well, we might be already living in that reality! Bowl & Bowl Fried Rice uses robots to create their tasty fried rice dishes, and they’re the first to do so in Singapore. How cool is that? The best part is that the fried rice dishes are affordable and healthy as well, and you can enjoy consistency whenever you order for them since the team behind Bowl & Bowl Fried Rice makes use of the automated cookers too.

1. Shrimp and Ham Fried Rice

This simple combination of shrimp and ham in a bowl of fried rice may look bland and boring at the first glance, but the flavours are simply immaculate! The fresh shrimps are cooked to perfection thanks to the pinpoint accuracy of the robot cookers, and everything is seasoned appropriately. Bowl & Bowl Fried Rice definitely does not disappoint with this classic dish. The best part? This dish won’t burn a hole in your wallet since its only $6.00!

2. Mentaiko Salmon Egg Fried Rice

Here’s something for all the mentaiko lovers out there! If you’ve been living under a rock, mentaiko sauce is made from cod fish roe combined with Japanese mayonnaise and it perfectly compliments the salmon and salmon roe topped on top of the fried rice of this dish! The salmon is cooked to perfection and is topped with that familiar and addictive mentaiko sauce, before being torched with a flame that gives you that flavour explosion in your mouth. This option is a little pricier than other dishes at $9.00, but it is well worth it!

3. Diced Chicken Pork Floss Egg Fried Rice

An innovative and rare sight would be having pork floss in your fried rice. Don’t worry, as weird as it sounds, Bowl & Bowl Fried Rice does this perfectly! I love how the different textures coming from the soft and moist diced chicken, the fluffy pork floss, and the beady and soft pearl rice comes together! It’s almost like a symphony of flavours and textures in your mouth. Overall, it’s a really exciting yet flavourful dish that’ll keep you coming back for more.

4. Mentaiko Shrimp Egg Fried Rice

Like the mentaiko salmon egg fried rice, this does not disappoint. If you prefer shrimp to salmon, this is definitely worth a try! You’ll also get the same torched mentaiko sauce, only this time its topped on some beautiful fresh shrimp instead. It’s also a cheaper alternative to its mentaiko salmon counterpart. However, I find that if you have the extra couple bucks to spare, the mentaiko salmon egg fried rice would be a better buy, since the sauce compliments the fish and the salmon roe better.

5. Taiwan Sausage Egg Fried Rice

Personally, I love the sweet, juicy, and “Q-Q” texture of Taiwan sausages much more than a typical sausage. I would safely say, the Taiwan sausage from Bowl & Bowl Fried Rice is one of the best I’ve ever tasted! Although the dish looks simple with only the Taiwan sausage topping the fried rice, it’s really all you need! The team behind Bowl & Bowl Fried Rice has really made the sausage the star of the show. If you love Taiwanese food just like me, definitely give this a try!

6. Mentaiko Chicken Breast Egg Fried Rice

If seafood is not really your thing, I strongly urge you to try the chicken version of the other mentaiko dishes. You still get that delicious and savoury mentaiko sauce, but with a generous amount of chicken breast instead! Somehow, the robots creating the dish managed to ensure that the chicken breast is moist and tender when you bite into it, something that is hard to replicate. Additionally, this dish is cheaper than its shrimp and salmon counterparts at only $6.00, which I find that it’s an absolute steal!
