Shrimps Fried Rice with Ebiko

Before I took a bite, the Shrimps Fried Rice with Ebiko greeted me playfully with the sights of different colours working cohesively. When I took my first bite, the different flavours exploded in my mouth. The rice was well cooked and tasted soft and mellow. The juicy shrimps accompanied with the stir-fried long beans and egg really elevated the overall taste of this dish. It made a spot in my favourite food list.

Deep Fried Seabass

Honestly, their Seabass was the BASS (best). The fried and crunchy skin from the deep-fried seabass acted as a complementary, as it gave a slight chew and texture to the tender and moist fish meat. The fish meat has absorbed the flavour from the soy sauce and was really enjoyable to have as a side dish to the fried rice. It was like having the best of both worlds.

Handmade Beancurd with Assorted Mushrooms and Broccoli

The handmade beancurd was so soft and silky as compared to other beancurds that I’ve eaten, this beancurd just melts in your mouth. The assortment of mushroom and broccoli helped to levitate the taste of the beancurd, as it added depths to its flavour as well as different textures to it.

Sesame Oil Chicken

The savoury and flavourful Sesame Oil Chicken is one dish not to be missed! The chicken pieces were cooked in a sesame oil sauce-mixture with generous amount of capsicum and carrots used. This gave the chicken pieces their tasty and robust flavours. The sesame oil sauce used was a great complementary to the other various ingredients, making this dish a very balanced one.

Stir-Fried Kailan with Silver Fish

This dish is not one to be overlooked as even though it is a light dish, it packed a punch in flavours. This dish will help cleanse your palette after having the other heavier dishes, like it did for me. The vegetables were not over-cooked, so they were still juicy and refreshing when I tasted them. Its earthly taste was a great contrast to the other dishes which I enjoyed.

Aiyu Jelly with Longan Dessert

This was one sweet and refreshing dessert, especially on a hot day! It felt cooling when I had a taste of it. The sea coconut and Longan provided good textures to the dessert as well. The sweet taste of the dessert lingered in my mouth for a while before it dissipated which helped to end this meal on a good note.
