Are you ready to be back at work?
Are you enjoying your time working from home or are you dying to return to your office? Seriously, I can’t decide. Now that I’m fully used to working from home, I’m actually loving it. But then I do miss my colleagues and the “free-flow” air-conditioning!

#1 Dress Up
I know that many of us prefer working from home in your PJs (hint: me). To help prepare ourselves and get into the right mindset soon, for your next work-from-home day, when you wake up, take a quick shower and dress up as if you are going to the office! Bet you’ll feel more energetic to get to work too!

#2 Set Your Alarm Clock the Way You Used To
I’m not sure if you are guilty of this, but I definitely am. Work starts at 9.15AM? No problem, I’ll wake up at 9AM to freshen up before planting myself at my desk. But, we need to stop this soon as that will not happen in the real world! Start your day as though you are heading off to office to get your body back to work!

#3 Prepare Yourself Mentally
Think of the things that used to make you leave house for work. I know it can be dreadful. But think of seeing your colleagues again, the snacks-filled pantry, lunch chit-chats with your colleagues. Get your engine rumbling again!

#4 Expect New Regulations and Practices
You’ll still need to practice personal hygiene. So, sit further apart during work and lunch, wear a mask while at work, perform regular temperature taking, safe entry check-in/out and more. Remember to wash your hands regularly and be sure to stay home if you are not feeling well!

#5 Plan Ahead
Try to avoid crowded areas whenever possible. If possible, travel during non-peak periods and plan ahead for lunch! Instead of heading out to takeaway during lunch as per normal, why not prepare your own lunch at home or order in instead!
Remember to be respectful to your colleagues during these trying times, be understanding and keep everybody safe!
