For this Economy Buffet, we chose the following items:

1) Yang Chow Fried Rice

2) Lemon Chicken

3) BBQ Pork Chop

4) Sweet and Sour Fish

5) Cereal Prawn

6) Mixed Curry Vegetables

7) Deep Fried Samosa

8) Mini Cream Puff

And here's our review on each dish!

Sweet and Sour Fish

This dish was the first on the list that we tried and we were totally blown away!

The fish was really soft and the sauce was evenly coated over every piece. The fish pieces were really generous as well, you won't have to worry about getting hardened small pieces of flour coated fish that some caterers give.

Yang Chow Fried Rice

For a 20 pax economy buffet, the fried rice was more than enough!

Also, we really loved how fragrant and soft the rice was. It wasn't overly seasoned nor oily which we have to give two huge thumbs up for.

PLUS, it went really REALLy well with the mixed curry vegetables!

Mixed Curry Vegetables

This is one of our favourite dishes from the buffet.

The curry gravy was oh so good till we couldn't stop slurping up the last remains of the sauce. For this dish, there was a huge assortment of vegetables like eggplant and green beans! We would definitely choose this dish again the next time.

Cereal Prawn

Despite being a little soggy from the condensation (mini buffet problems but it doesn't really matter), the prawn was delicious!

It was super fresh and cooked to perfection - not the overly rubbery chewy type of prawn.

The cereal coating was really yummy as well!

BBQ Pork Chop

Boneless pork chop coated in glossy BBQ sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds... Just looking at the photos make us hungry again!

Once again, their dish didn't disappoint. The sauce wasn't overly flavourful and each piece had the perfect ratio of meat to sauce!

Lemon Chicken

This is the BEST  dish from the entire buffet selection.

1. We got a super generous amount of chicken
2. The Lemon Sauce was REALLY good

The chicken was crispy and had generous chunks of chicken meat. No more worries about getting stringy chicken meat!

Fried Samosa

Crispy, flaky with loads of spiced potatoes. It really is hard to pick favourites when every dish, even the finger food is this good.

The samosas are not overly oily and are super great to snack on when you're waiting for your turn to scoop a portion of the other dishes.

Cream Puffs

These cream puffs were a great end to our buffet.

By now, we were already filled to the brim but these cream puffs are TOTALLY worth the extra calories.

It was quite warm that day so the cream puff fillings became a little runny but it was still super delicious!

The cream wasn't overly sweet and paired really well with the airy puff shells.

These puffs were tiny bite sized pieces and were easy to eat compared to other dessert options such as cakes (icing all over your hands? No thanks).

They were so good, we wished we had more.

Its perfectly fine to be skeptical.

But its not just us who found the food amazing!
