Cake Avenue Review - The Specialist for Over the Top Birthday Cakes

Unicorn Cakes are super trendy right now with loads of birthday parties having these magical cakes as their dessert table centrepiece! Cake Avenue from Singapore has created their own version with super pretty rainbow buttercream swirls and golden shimmer fondant horns and ears!

We really love how each and every part of the cake has such fantastic detailing.

Not only does the Rainbow Unicorn Cake look good, it tastes really good too! Here at FoodLine, we like to emphasise how much we appreciate cakes that are not overly sweet and loaded with sugar. This cake is perfectly matches our expectations with not too sweet vanilla layers sandwiched between smooth buttercream. You can also opt for chocolate flavour!

Next, we were given different cheesecakes to try out. These cheesecakes were AMAZING! It was super rich in flavour without being too jelak.

Our favourite was the Cookies and Cream cheesecake because of the generous amount of cookies in it! Prices start at $32 and this is super affordable because of its huge size! Our office loved it so much it was finished up in a matter of minutes! We also loved the thin biscuit crust that helped balanced out the richness of the cheesecake.

Finally, we were given a chance to try out their new menu item : DRIP CAKES!

This Drip Cake was beautifully decorated with loads of handmade chocolate flowers, pocky sticks and shimmery pink macarons.

For this cake, we chose the chocolate flavour which was really flavourful and thick! We also loved the pink Strawberry drip design, it complimented the rich chocolate cake layers and chocolate buttercream really well!

In all, we recommend getting the magical Unicorn cake for your next birthday celebration! It will definitely be the centre of attention. For smaller less glitzy occasions, the cheesecakes are great for cosy gatherings and is definitely worth every cent.
