Cakes Online Review - Best Carrot Cake in Singapore!

Despite having the current "over the top" cakes trend, some of us like simple cakes rather than the fondant covered options that probably don't taste as good as they look.

Each cake comes in a sturdy kraft box that you can be sure won't fall apart. This keeps all of us at ease when transporting them around. Plus, it comes with a super cute orange ribbon that makes it easier to carry too!

The first item we tried was their Carrot Walnut Cake and this is definitely the BEST Carrot Cake we've tasted.

From its exterior, you can already see that its jam packed with loads of walnuts. Most carrot cakes are just covered in cream cheese frosting but this is PERFECT for walnut lovers!

Although the berries do not add much flavour into the cake, they give the cake some flair that makes it look even more appetising!

When we cut into the cake, there were even more walnuts within the layers! Thumbs up for Cake Shops like Cakes Online that aren't stingy with their ingredients!

The Cream Cheese Frosting was really good as well and the cake to cream ratio was just nice.

We highly recommend this cake to try!

The next item we tried was their Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart!

This tart is made out of a crisp buttery crust which we really liked and filled with gooey salted caramel and bittersweet chocolate ganache.

This is a MUST TRY for all chocolate lovers as this tart is overloaded with chocolate.

Finally, we tried their Mango Rhapsody Cake.

This cake is much sweeter than the other two, so if you have a sweeter tooth, this option would be good.

The Mango Rhapsody is one of their best sellers - It is made out of soft white chiffon cake, layered with mangoes, mango glaze and their signature delicious cream. At the top, it is smothered with more mango glaze and mango jelly, and covered with delightful lady fingers!

We really liked the melt in your mouth lady fingers that added a different dimension to the cake.
