East West Fusion Review - Affordable Mini Buffet for the Masses!
East West Fusion Review
As a huge foodie, the best part of any gathering is the food served. Of course, while food can make your day, it can also ruin your day. With hundreds of caterers on our website, sometimes it might be overwhelming and difficult to decide who to engage. That's why we have decided to review East West Fusion, one of our popular caterers here on FoodLine!

On a sunny Sunday in May, East West Fusion kindly sponsored a few dishes for popular Instagrammer Cherzinga's (@cherzinga) 21st birthday! From the good ol' Pineapple Fried Rice, to the ever tasty Salted Egg Chicken, the food was well received by many guests!
Pineapple Fried Rice

When the caterer brought out this dish, a strong aroma wafted over, the smell of pineapple! Nothing beats the classic Pineapple Fried Rice. There was chicken floss, spring onions and coriander sprinkled all over the bright yellow rice. The portion was more than enough for 60 pax, and even after everyone had their fill, there were still leftovers. The rice was seasoned just right and extremely flavourful! The dish is also not spicy, suitable for children and non-spicy food eaters.
Salted Egg Chicken

I've always been grateful to the chef who conceptualised the first salted egg dish because it's a treat everytime I try one. No surprises but once the dish was revealed, it was snatched up quickly! People loved it so much, they sang the dish praises to Cherzinga! While the Salted Egg Chicken might seem salty, it was actually just right. Some might expect it to be dry since the chicken was deep fried, but this dish proved them wrong. The chicken was generously coated with the Salted Egg sauce, and paired really well with the slightly sweet taste from the Pineapple Fried Rice. Many guests also came back to get seconds because of the Salted Egg Chicken!
Broccoli with Cauliflower and Mushroom

Contrary to belief, the Broccoli and Cauliflowers were not undercooked and too hard to chew, but soft and well boiled. There were also plenty of carrots and mushrooms in the dish, making it a healthy addition to the buffet table!
Sweet and Sour Fish
The Sweet and Sour Fish was also well done. The fish was firm and fresh, well seasoned with the sweet and sour sauce. If the Salted Egg Chicken wasn't stealing the spotlight, this dish would surely be the next best around. Many guests mentioned that the sauce was not too thick nor overpowering, with the right balance of sweet and savoury. Coupled with the tartness from the sour sauce, it was easy to enjoy and the guests kept coming back for more.
Curry Samosa
The Curry Samosas were a popular appetizer at the buffet table, with it's crispy skin and fragrant curry potato filling, it's no wonder that the dish was quickly gobbled down by the guests!
