Bagels. Have you tried them? What do you know about them? Bagels originated in the Jewish communities in Poland, and was spelled beigel. It is boiled in water, and then baked, making it denser than normal bread.

Did you know that bagels were gifted to women after childbirth, as the round shape of a bagel symbolized good luck and long life. And way back in medieval Poland, the bagel was believed to have magical powers! Itâs like a good luck charm eh? Time to wear one as a necklace.
