Make These 6 Treats Without Using Flour!

Make These 6 Treats Without Using Flour!

Hang in there, guys! I’m not sure about you but the days seem to be longer and time feels like it’s slowing down these few weeks and to curb that boredom I’ve been wanting to try baking. If you’re in the same situation as me, I’m sure you know about the flour shortage situation and it really is a huge disappointment! But don’t worry, because I’ve found a few treats that can come to life without using flour! Are you ready?

Meringue

This literally is the easiest recipe in the world. With just egg whites, sugar, and cream of tartar, you’re already 70% into the recipe! Whisk the egg whites on medium-low speed and gradually add the other ingredients and stop whisking at stiff peaks. Pop them into the oven, and tada! These treats make great teatime snacks and they’re personally really enjoyable with some black tea!

Fluffy, light, and super enjoyable, chocolate mousse is another yummy treat you can make without using flour and trust me, your kids will love it. Using basic baking ingredients like milk, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and heavy cream this chocolate mousse recipe can be prepared within 2 hours and served by the next day. Want something more special? Check out this Chocolate Chestnut Mousse recipe! It contains brandy, so if you’d like to opt-out of that feel free to leave that ingredient out!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

This recipe reminds me so much of my favourite Reese’s I’ve always had when I was younger and to have found this Giant Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup recipe is literally a dream come true. Made from grounded peanuts, creamy peanut butter, and bittersweet chocolate this recipe is definitely a must-try! It involves a food processor to mix the ingredients together, but if your blender is powerful enough it can be an alternative.
