One of such caterers would be The Coffee Connection! Under this same brand which provides a whole range of delicious, savoury treats is Rocky Master, a smaller brand concentrating on baking up the best cakes.

We recently got to try BOTH savoury and sweet treats from them and here is our review!

We received 3 different cakes from them and the first one was their Matcha Azuki Cake.

This delicious cake is filled with Azuki Bean Buttercream with super fluffy layers of Matcha cake! We really really liked how light and fluffy the Matcha Cake Sponge was.

However, the Matcha taste was more subtle than expected.

Instead, we mostly tasted the Azuki Bean Buttercream which was really yummy and not too sweet, but if there were more Matcha taste to compliment the cream, it would have been perfect!

The next cake was this Double Baked Chocolate Cake!

The floral chocolate on top was really pretty!

Aside from that, this chocolate cake is super fudgy and rich, with a mousse like texture.

Definitely a must try for all chocolate lovers!

The final cake was this Strawberry Cheesecake.

The cake base is plain and the strawberry flavour came from the pureed strawberry jam on top!

The cheesecake is really rich and creamy, definitely sinful but worth it.

Moving on to savoury bites, The Coffee Connection has savoury sandwiches from their party tray menu.

These open faced sandwiches look REALLY fancy and can really make your party look snazzy.

We had Teriyaki Chicken, Egg Mayo, Smoked Salmon, Otah and Grilled Veggies.

All were equally good and super yummy!

The bread base was really fluffy and soft, and each topping given was super generous.

You don't have to worry about getting low quality sandwiches with stingy toppings anymore!

Other than sandwiches, we also ate Tortilla Wraps.

We felt that they would taste better warmed up as the tortilla was slightly chewier than expected but once again, the fillings didn't disappoint!

These tortilla wraps are so good and so worth it, your guests wont stop talking about them even after your party ends!

Finally, we had their Dry Mee Siam Trays.

This Mee Siam came with a lot of eggs and tau kwa, with REALLY REALLY good chili.

This is a great option if you want something more substantial for your guests to eat.

Overall, the food quality of all the items we tried were amazing! You definitely would want this caterer at your party. Plus, for muslims out there, this caterer is HALAL certified!
