It is made from black glutinous rice flour (gluten-free), with a generous filling of traditional Pulut Hitam, light and fresh coconut cream icing and topped with roasted Pulut Hitam crunch.

The additional topping of Pulut Hitam crunch helped to add on an extra crunch element which complemented well with the soft sponge and balance the overall texture of the cake. This reinvention of the traditional Pulut Hitam dessert sure was a smart move as it left all of us coming back for second servings!
