The Good and the Kinda Ugly: Alcohol
I’m not encouraging alcoholism but did you know, that there are a handful health benefits of alcohol? However, the ugly sides of alcohol are more commonly shared online, so many aren't aware of the GOOD. And we can all agree, how alcohol makes you feel so good, until it doesn't...

When alcohol is consumed in moderate amounts, it comes with these health benefits:
- Reducing the risk of heart disease
- Reducing the risk of ischemic stroke
- Reducing the risk of diabetes
- Lose weight
Moderate alcohol consumption would be about two standard drinks a day for men and one drink for women. But do you know what is considered one drink?

And here comes the ugly.
Ethanol is the main ingredient in alcohol, and it is the ingredient that causes people to get drunk. This is when it gets ugly. Binge drinking. This may even lead to a black out! So please drink responsibly!

For those that have depression or anxiety, drinking can reduce stress. But it can worsen your overall mental health! Please seek proper and professional help as drinking is never the solution.
On top of that, excessive drinking can lead to obesity! Alcohol has high calorie content, with about 7 calories in 1 gram.
