The White Ombre Review - Super Cute Unicorn Macarons!

We're back with another review, this time for The White Ombre!

This bakery has won MANY awards in various cake decorating competitions so you can be sure that whatever you order would look amazing.

We were blown away by the huge assortment of Macarons that they bake - 25 delicious flavours!

Each Macaron has its own unique colour theme, with some even having gorgeous ombre shades. You are seriously spoilt for choice!

One of our favourites were the UNICORN Macarons.

As we all know, the Unicorn trend is still going on strong and this cute little treat is sure to impress anyone! Or if you are looking to reward yourself after a long day at work, this macaron would surely cheer you up.

We like the crisp macaron shell and the subtle effortful details put into making this treat - the faint Unicorn blush, the shimmery golden horn and the pink ears.

Next, we managed to get a slice of their best selling Earl Grey Strawberry Shortcake. 

This cake is incredibly light and fluffy, with generous pieces of strawberries in between fragrant earl grey cream. We were impressed with the cake's exterior - It was coated with pastry flakes, something unique yet was resulted in wonderful combination for both taste and texture with the fluffy sponge.

Another slice cake that we got to try was their Carrot Cake.

This carrot cake made with A LOT of walnuts, pineapple and sultanas. We really liked the chewy sultanas in the cake that made the entire cake texture interesting.

It is filled and topped with cream cheese frosting and decorated with toasted black sesame and walnuts!

SALTED. EGG.

This is another trending food flavour and we've found the cheesecake version.

The White Ombre's Salted Egg Cheesecake is a rich cheesecake with salted egg yolk bits on the top and within the cake itself. It also has a chocolate cookie base.

For this cheesecake, the salted egg taste is quite subtle and overwhelmed by the cheesecake base. Nevertheless, it was a great indulgent treat!

Another of their Signature cakes would be the Rainbow Cake.

This is made with 6 layers of yummy vanilla cake and you can customise a cream of your choice! Options include Peanut Butter Sea Salt, Nutella, Zesty Lemon, Passionfruit, Valrhona Chocolate and Milo Dinosaur.

Just look at those colourful, even layers!

The final item we tried were the Salted Caramel and Nut Brownies.
