The Cake Shop

The cake was good. Delivery time was 2 to 6 pm. Ask for 5 or 6pm. In the end, come at 2pm. When ask to deliver at later time. Was deny.

Ordered cupcakes from them last year for my son's birthday, chocolate flavour. It was ok.

This year decided to give them another try and ordered a blackforest cake. It was a mistake. The design was quite nice (but tats becuz I ordered an edible cartoon print to top the cake which can't go wrong). It was the worst blackforest cake I've ever tasted. Not a single blue/Blackberry/cherry in sight and even the cream between the layers are just thick whipped cream and doesn't taste like berry. I thought blackforest is supposed to have a center layer of berry cream??? And the chocolate part of the cake tasted below average. Even the $22 cake from my hdb cake shop taste much better than this.

As for the service, I called before I arrived to say I'm in a rush and will arrive in 5min so told the staff to get it ready beforehand so I can pick and go. But when I arrived, the 2 gals were just standing there and chatting and my cake wasn't packed yet.

This will be my last time patronising this shop.

Most of my guests commented that the cake was too creamy. Layer of cream is pretty thick whereas only 1 layer of strawberry inside the cake. :( pretty disappointing for the amount I paid. Texted for advice and did not receive any reply either.

The cake is pretty with the little pony design but the cake is too sweet for my guests'liking and size is very small, less than 1kg for 68.90. There was no confirmation call or email from the shop and I had to call the shop to make sure my cake order was confirmed.

Ordered the Children Cake - Spiddy Birthday, disappointed with the size of the cake..
Not sure whether wrong size was delivered or its the actual one, but not sufficient to share even with 16 kids in his school (was stated as 20-28).
And the taste was very average, will not order in this shop again.
To be honest, not worth for $85

The taste is ok . Delivery time just right for what I want. Design is nice.

The message on the cake was wrong. The cake was also very sweet.

Cake has too much cream.

After waiting for 2 days, I had to call the cake shop personally to confirm my order was received. Even though I received email confirmation from Foodline that the cake shop has received my order, based on the information on the site, the cake shop was supposed to call me to confirm it. So, service wasn't as expected.
Delivery time slot on Foodline allows you to choose a specific timing, but in actual fact, the cake shop don't allow that, unless you pay delivery fee. So I had to settle for a 2-5pm delivery slot, which was fine with me,. Delivery came at 5pm.
Cake looks great, taste a bit too sweet. The top layer, where the elmo pic was printed on, was a bit too hard, such that when we tried to put in the candles, the top layer cracked. So Elmo had a cracked face.

The Color of the cake turned out to be too pink to my liking as compared to what was shown on their website. Also it would be helpful if they could specify the weight of the cakes that they are selling on the website.
