Amici Events And Catering

generally the food was well-liked by my guest. Will order for the next function again

Service is polite, and the caterer provided a response within the a day from submission of the request. They even throw in complimentary fresh fruits. The caterer was accommodating. I had requested that there be no meat in the tofu dish and not to make the beehoon too spicy as we are expecting children.

The food earlier than I'd expected. Better early than late. The set up was simple and tastefully done with flowers.

It was hard to choose which dish we liked best 'cos we liked it all. The food was tasty, not salty or oily at all. The tom yam beehoon was not oily and not too spicy. The cereal king prawn was a tad dry and the cereal was kinda stuck to the prawns. But that didn't deter us from finishing it. The kids enjoyed the apple spritzer! Guests complimented on the taste and quality of the food.

Will certainly use them again.

Not recommended. Rice n veggies were cold n hard respectively. Decor was ok n prawns n toufu were not bad.

Never had high expectations of catering food due to many bad experiences. However, the food that was delivered was pretty decent with a few misses.

Service and set up: quick and pleasant with black skirting and red table cloth with a lion head to signify Chinese New Year.

Food:
1) Fa cai yusheng: delivery man forgot to give us the crispy chips which is the highlight of yusheng, otherwise dish was alright. Rating:3.5/5

2) Fortune platter: consist of fruit salad with clam, fried prawn and fried fish meat with a seafood roll. Think this is the worst dish and a bad choice for catering as the food will never be served warm. Hence it will lose its crispness and turn soggy. Rating:2/5

3) Treasure ginseng chicken: it's hard to go wrong with chicken but this dish lacks the ginseng taste though the chicken taste fine. Rating: 3/5

4) Fruity Norwegian salmon: one of the best dish! Was impressed as fish normally taste the worst for any catering with the fishy smell but the salmon cooked with dragon fruit, kiwi, rock melon and honeydew scored big with the relatives. Tasty yet not too salty with MSG without the unpleasant smell. Could improve on food presentation though. Rating:4.5/5

5) Prawn pumpkin shaved almond: another dish that can easily go wrong for most catering but not or this. Prawn meat was succulent and had the aromatic smell from curry leaves and pumpkin despite not bring a fan of prawn. Rating: 4.5/5

6) Fish maw soup with scallop: tasty soup but lacking in ingredients. Fels quite laden with MSG though. Rating: 3.5/5

7) Broccoli with scallop: cooked with mushroom and carrots, one of most guests' favourite. Broccoli was crunchy, with a light sauce drizzle, tasted home cooked without too much MSG. Rating 5/5

8) 8 Treasure lotus leaf rice: Lacking in flavours. Rating: 3/5

9) chilled mango pomelo sago: one of the second worst dish, had the right taste but far too sweet for most. Need to cut down on sugar and will be perfect. Rating:2.5/5

10) pink guava: tasted like usual

Overall the food was good but not value for money at $33.80 per pax. A more appropriate price to pay would be $25.80 max per pax

Good Food - i.e. Treasure Ginseng Chicken & Prawn Pumpkin Shaved Almond
Fruity Norwegian Salmon has fishy smell
Good Service - Staffs are polite & friendly
I will recommend this caterer to my friends & colleagues

Set-up was beautiful. We had cream skirting with a statue of Cupid adorning the mid-section of the buffet!

Only small gripe was that rice portion was insufficient as well as not enough items were served for 72 pax on the Four Season Cold Platter (there were 4 types of items, but only about 15-20 pieces of each type, ideally should be 1 piece of each type for each pax)

Good spread of international cuisine & tasty food as commented by all guests. Set up very pretty though ordered for 20pax only.

The table setting together with food setting was nicely and professionally set up. It makes the food looks very appealing. The food was more than enough. The menu combination was really good.

1) The Loin lamb is quite tough and not tender enough. Can be further improved.
2) Chicken Ham, Beef Salami, Pepperoni & Chicken Chipolata -- the quantity is really very small portion.

The food was great and delivery was on time. Except that they forgotten to bring forks. Sausages taste good too. Overall, will order again the next time.deco can be improved.
