Broson Catering

Will recomend my friend to this website.

The caterer came to early to pre-empt for collection. .
Suppose to be 12-4pm but came at 330pm and pre-empt to collect.

Value for money, prompt

Value for money. Good for catering for small group of gathering or celebration. BUT service...horrible. Thanks for pissing me off on my birthday and shouting at me. I ordered 25 pax initially for my small birthday celebration but upgraded to 30 pax as i was told only 30 pax came with complimentary drinks. So i find it a trouble to go out and buy my own drinks so i just upgraded to 30 pax. On the day itself, no complimentary drinks was given so i was puzzled and call the office to ask about it as the deliveryman knows nothing. And thanks for the ultra "nice service" for blaming that i never state in my order for any complimentary drink. Common sense i already spoke to someone over the phone that i want to upgrade to 30 pax so i can get the complimentary drink. And whoever it is, even verify my order. Ok all this i can forget about it, probably its a miscommunication over the phone.

So the person who i called over at the office was checking for me. As i was on the line waiting for the person to check, my boyfriend came along and ask me what happen so i just explain to him about it. So the person on the line heard what i told my boyfriend and immediately scold me for complaining. Like excuse me! Do i even have NO RIGHTS to even update my boyfriend on whats going on?

Seriously its not about the freaking complimentary drink anymore! We just argued over the phone about just the stupid "complaining part" and i just told the person off that i dont want the stupid drink already and damn it just hang the phone.

I just got my friend to go outside and buy packet drinks but lastly i got to say the deliveryman was a nice person. In the end they also deliver my complimentary drinks over but too late, i already bought all my drinks and dont even feel like drinking the complimentary drink anymore.

Food overall wise are quite ok. Really can recommend for any small gathering as other catering caters to about 40-50 pax at least. But service wise definitely need an IMPROVEMENT.

If your food is still average but have a good customer service, i believe people will still come back or recommend to others. But if your food is nice to the extreme but with such horrible service, forget it.

Delivery man was very adamant to collect utensils back early.

My guests commented that the Rendang Chicken and Otah are nice.
Amount of food did not seem to cater to 30pax.
Only gave 1 trash bag which I thought was insufficient.
The drink taste a little diluted. But for the price, I think it's very value for money.

Very happy with the service from the guy who took all my calls as there were some problems with Foodline's e-mails getting to Broson or to me. They did not receive my order until I called them to check and they managed to find my order but they did not get the initial e-mail from Foodline. Broson had to fax over the invoice. I confirmed the order with Broson and still, no e-mails sent to Broson or to me from Foodline. It really took a while...

As mentioned over the phone to Broson after the buffet, the prawns were cold and uncooked right in the middle. You could see bits of translucent meat and can taste the difference in texture. We threw away a lot of the prawns that day. :-( A little bit more cooking time and it may have been perfect.

The assorted fruit cocktail jelly was rather unappertising to look at being a murky dark green. Would also recommend adding in more fruits... Incidentally, the pineapples were also stained green.

Stuffed you char kueh did not taste or look stuffed as compared to the ones from Ye Liang How.

The curry chicken was really good but the whole experience was marred by the prawns.

Rather disappointed and told my colleagues there was an apology only when they asked what the caterer had to say about the prawns that were not thoroughly cooked. A lot of people thought the caterer may throw in something (e.g. token refund/ dessert) as a response.They told me not to order from Broson again. :-/ Sorry...
