It is my first time to order food from Golden Pillow. I am surprised to the freshness of food. The fried rice and dry Mee Siam wouldn't get soggy after an hour I opened it and served my guests. I don't like to eat spicy food but the dry Mee Siam is so delicious.

The curry chicken is nice but the chicken is too little and the pieces are too big. The bread is fresh and soft and the curry is yummy.

Fried Pumpkin with salted egg yolk.
The fried pumpkin is very tender on the inside and with the salted egg yolk coated on the outside, it brings out the aroma of the pumpkin and the salted egg. The quantity is good for 4-5 pax, which is value for money. Most importantly, it is delicious and not oily. Perfect to go with their rice.

Fried Chicken Wanton
Was worried that for fried food, it may be delivered mushy and soft. However, it came still as crispy as it is being served on the spot and even a tint of warmness.

Mushrooms with Broccoli
As expected, this dish is similar with any other broccoli dishes you find elsewhere. Am satisfied with the flavor.

Fried Mee Siam
Don't get fool by the appearance of this dish, the taste is tantalizing. Garnished with sliced hard boiled egg, chillis, and some greens, this beehoon is nicely fried and flavourful. Would rate this dish as one of the best fried mee siam I ever tasted.

The food was pretty decent and the portions sizeable.

The main star was, of course the curry chicken with bread. The combination pretty satisfying and filling, just that the pieces of chicken could have been chopped a little smaller. The thickness of the bread was satisfactory, such that it could soak up the curry gravy without being entirely submerged.

The other star item was the mee siam - managing to remain soft and moist despite having endured a fair amount of waiting. Although the ingredients were rather limited and mostly dominated by the been hoon itself, it was a pretty good size considering the large cost $20 only.

Overall satisfied

The food arrive promptly. My guests love the sambal chicken. It is not so spicy and goes well with dried mee siam. The stewed duck is tender but difficult to cut. It is good that golden pillow can cut for us instead of giving half a duck.

Return customer here. Fried mee siam never fails and of course the curry chicken bun too. Used thigh and drumstick meat.

Medium mee siam can easily feed at least 5 pax.
