Ichiban Bento review

Ordered a few times with this merchant and the food never fall to disappoint. First time trying the unagi bento and it is nice! If you like unagi can give it a try.

Unagi and Salmon - Nice, the sauce is good
Pork - Tender and nice sauce too
Chicken katsu - Nice chicken, not salty and tender
Potato croquette - Won't go wrong
Potato salad - don't get it, no taste, not nice

The teriyaki chicken bowl is of good value with reasonable amount of chicken and egg. The pick up was from Kuriya.

The sushi platter is very delicious and I like the tuna sushi the most. The delivery is also on time! Will definitely reorder again next time

Nice ichiban bento and consistent food taste as always. The food was already packed and ready when I went to pick it up.

This aburi Christmas themed sushi rice log cake was a fantastic talking point at our Christmas gathering. It's a super creative idea to put deli meats wrapped in sushi rice and topped with lots of mentaiko. Can't wait to see what options to order ... More next year! Haha though to be honest I think a normal Japanese sushi rice log cake with tamago and sashimi fillings is just fine. Maybe some cheese or a sausage or two. The turkey meat didn't quite match the rice but I still enjoyed the novelty and innovation, thank you!!

QUITE GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY (INCLUDING FREE DELIVERY). FOOD WAS ENJOYABLE, DRIVER WAS ON TIME AND POLITE, ONLINE SERVICE WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. ALL IN ALL GOOD EXPERIENCE!

Ordered sushi platters for my mum’s birthday surprise, but the experience was disappointing. The driver called asking me to contact the caterer to expedite pick-up (which is weird). I called FoodLine’s hotline and found out it wasn’t operating ... More on weekends. Though a staff later called to inform of the delay after the food has been picked up (which I said was fine), but the food arrived tilted and slanted, affecting presentation.

Staff is friendly and called us to remind us that food is ready. Food is delicious and fresh which is inportant for raw food.

Order process was fuss free, food was delivered on time and well packed. First time trying and taste good, will order again!
