Lao Huo Tang Catering

Food was generally ok. Sadly one of the cucumber shreds for the Yu Sheng dish was bad. It stank up the whole room when we opened the packet to prep the dish. Seriously thought one of the kids took a poo poo. Haha. Looking back at the pics and can see one of the colour of the packed veg was already off when it was just delivered. End up only 1 out of 2 Yu Sheng can be served up for my 20 guest. WhatsApp their service line to inform but sadly was ignored and no follow up. Lastly the salted egg pork chop was tough, good training for your teeth thou. Happy chewing!

Their soup are nice and hot. Foods are nice. Always order from them as their service and food are up to expectations.

Food was great, warm and yummy. portion of the soup was rlly small, ordered for 15 pax but only 8 pax got a small bowl of soup.

Very value for money. Food can easily feed 12 people although it was catered for 10 people. Was surprised to see two fried grouper delivered!

However, not sure if there was too much MSG in the food as I felt really thirsty after that.

XO Broccoli with Scallop was quite spicy.

Food was good otherwise and guests were very happy with the food.

I like it’s very flexible, can customize drinks, and the salt level and also choosing hot desserts. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and portion was generous. My guests enjoyed all dishes. However, it is pricey and I thought it would be better to state upfront the additional charges during 7th month rather than informing the customers after we have placed our order.

Food is so good that I didn't manage to take a picture, as everyone is sweeping the plates clean. We ordered for 10 paxes,. but the serving is still generous for 13 paxes. For the price, it is very value for money.

Service is very prompt too, they followed up the next morning to confirm the menu and address. someone in my household got covid, and we had to change the delivery to another address just 1 day before the event, and they are very nice to accommodate such last min change.

Overall, a really pleasant experience with lao hua tang, and surely recommend!

The food was 30pax was a on the little side. It maybe enough for 30 pax but i guess the food was quite good, everyone mentioned it has homely taste hence went for bigger serving. A good problem though!

Glad that foodline assisted to arrange for the food to be earlier than the earliest timing selected.

All dishes were Delicious esp the herbal chicken soup, highly recommended. Overall dishes were acceptable except for Kailan with garlic which came bitter and ribena with lemon which was way too sweet. Portion was huge.
