Mei Hao 99 Catering

Food was generally cold despite having warmer.

Braised duck and beehoon was good. Generous serving.

Almond crispy duck was a disappointment. It was dry and not crispy. couldn’t taste any almond. Basic setup.

Deshell prawn was not bad but very tiny.

The dishes are quite good for the price paid. Comparable to the more famous catering brands.

First time ordering from Mei Hao 99 Catering and was suprised that my guests like all the dishes especially their Signature Curry Chicken.

The loh mai kai was in little individual containers and that made serving it easy. We didn't have to scoop the sticky rice. There were many gd comments from my guests about the taste as well.

The Honey sea coconut was very refreshing. Perhaps it was a hot day but many of my guests helped themselves to it 1st even before the actual food! It tasted just right- not too sweet and had a lot of ingredients.

The Mini Soon kueh looked so inviting. All of it was gone very soon as it was easy to pick up and tasted good too. The texture and filling were just right!

The apple strudel was disappointing though. The pastry was kind of hard and crusty. A lot leftover!

Before the event, I had called up to check if a floral arrangement was included and the person on the phone said yes. But the guys doing the set up did not bring any. They also had a set time to pick up after the event and were inflexible. I did not want them to come to dismantle when my guests were still around. Thankfully most had left when they came back but I did not really have peace of mind as they gave me only 2.5 hr to serve the food.

Overall still a good event and I think everyone enjoyed most of the food.

Ordered the mini buffet for my family and portion was surprising quite sufficient. Decent food taste and all plastic utensils provided.

The portion is big and the food was yummy too!!

Good food considering its a catering service. Service was excellent and the food was worth the money for its portion size and number fo dishes

Firstly, the food is great and the quality of food had stayed the same.

However, the service could be improved. The driver had experienced some issue on the road that causes him to be late the buffet should be ready by 6.30pm he only reached at 6.35pm. Yet, they didn't give us a call to inform us and we have to call in to verify why at 6 pm the driver hasn't arrived. That's not the only problem after he finishes setting up the food we realize it was actually the order that the other chalet ordered and wrong order was sent to me. After waiting and verifying, the driver managed to get our correct orders.

Then, the driver spilled our fruit cocktail jelly and promised to deliver another one to us. So by the time, it's done, it's already 7.15 pm until 9 pm almost to 10 pm it was not delivered and we have to call in to check and only to know that it will not arrive in time.

Conclusion, please update your customers for any situation like this in the future.

Have been ordering from Meihao for many years for all my big gatherings. The food were tasty and arrived warm. My guests enjoyed the spread.
