Mei Hao 99 Catering

Good value for money. Good portion given and provided. We always liked food from meihao and ordered a few times from them.

Friends like the food very much. They ask me for the caterer.

This is our 2nd time ordering buffet and both times we order from Mei Hao.

Have to give special mention to Ron (sorry not sure is it Ron or Bong) who came down to help us to setup the buffet. He did a very good job, meticulous, friendly and he did it all by himself. Less than 45 mins. And this time it came with flowers. The 1st time we ordered there wasn't any flowers for the deco.

Overall I think the food was okayyy only. Could be better. I was expecting the fish slices cooked with ginger and spring onion to be steamed kind then stir fry. But it was fried. To me it's not very nice...
Cereal prawns so so.
Curry chicken, seafood fried bee hoon, broccoli and orh née not bad. Pretty nice..

The food and service were overall pretty good.
The setup is pretty nice too.

Potion just nice except for the vegetable. It was the first to be cleared. Honey dew saga, Pandan Chicken, prawn salad cream are the best. Thai fried rice is a bit dry. overall, the food is not bad.

Delivery staff are come in time , service ok, but a bit late to collect those container and table after party, but overall service are ok.

This is our first time ordering a buffet and we decided to try out Mei Hao since my colleague used them for his church wedding last year.

Delivery people came on time to setup the tables and food and it was done within half an hour - pretty efficient & friendly.

Surprised that there was no NEA certificate being displayed at our buffet table.

Deco was very simple. Wanted a L-shaped layout but they gave me a horizontal straight layout instead.

Food wise:
The seafood fried bee hoon was excellent.
Curry chicken was not bad but quite oily. A thick layer of oil was feedback by some of the guests.
Pork ribs with champagne was literally untouched as guests commented that it was too sweet. Personally I find the meat too tough too. Thus, not one of their signature dishes.
Dessert orh nee was nice.. The only dish of our buffet that was completely wiped out.
My other guests also commented that the sambal sotong was nice and not too tough.

The fruit punch was extremely sweet!! Guessed you guys need to prepare the drinks better..

Collection time was prompt at 315 pm.

Polite staff who set up the buffet. He called to inform you he is on the way. Presentation good. Amount of food for 25pax in my opinion is generous. My guests commented the chicken curry and stewed pork are nice. Even ask for the caterer name. Definitely a good choice for the price I paid.
