Mei Hao 99 Catering

We order Mei Hao 99 catering for our family's dinner, as we read very good reviews of them on foodline. However we are a little disappointed, the quality of the food was not as good as we hope it had been (maybe this is a peak season and food quality was compromised). Not much comments from my relatives for the Seafood Bee Hoon, Salad Prawn, Chinese Bun w/ Stewed Pork, Broccoli, Calamari..I guess these are fine. Crispy Yam Ring tasted a little burnt. Chicken in special dark sauce was a little too dry. Oat Battered sliced fish had mixed reviews, some thought it was too soggy but I find it ok. The saving grace was the sweet yam w/ ginko nuts. It was pretty good! Service wise they are pretty good, on time and set up was decent. Overall rating I would give a 7/10.

My guest all commented the food is very good, esp the curry chicken, fried rice and bee hoon.

Food quality is acceptable though can be better. I find the fruit punch to be too sweet. My favourable dish is honey sea coconut which is very thirst-quenching.

Ordered to come at 12pm but arrive only at 12.30-1pm. Everyone ask the name of caterer hence I think the food is very good. Change of Bobo Cha Cha needs to pay 50cents per pax. Salad prawn w cocktail, bean curd & the scallop in broccoli was the first to finish. Ordered 55 pax for 56 people and had a lot of leftovers as most are too full. Overall will highly recommend Mei Hao to others.

For ppl renting stools, I requested for 50, but they only have 25 for rental. Ended up renting from a shop recommended by them. But comes with transport fee.

Delivery man did a good job. He was early and nicely set up just before the event. Guest liked the curry chicken. The salad prawn tray was empty before the event ended. Ample leftovers were the yam ring and calamari. Maybe they are dishes with no food warmers so was cold after a while.

The lady who confirmed my order was also very helpful. She gave useful suggestions to help me finalize my menu.

Maybe caterer can standby some tabao containers for guest who wants to tabao leftovers.

Ordered the $15.90 per pax for 50 pax for my brother wedding! The caterer arrived my mom hse on time and set up was fast with 2 persons.

Most of my relatives commented that food was good, especially the braised duck, pork rib and bo bo cha cha.
Braised duck was soft and juicy.
Pork rib was tasty and not dry.
Bo bo cha cha sweetness was just right! Not too sweet!

The only bad comments was the Thai style noodles was too saggy. Having said that, the noodles was tasty! Goes nice with the curry chicken.

Overall the food was well praised by the guests! I will definitely recommend to my cousin who will be getting married in March!

I hope Mei Hao continue to keep up the quality of food, as well as services!

Very good service and food is yummy as usual! It's my 3rd order and meihao 99 has never disappoint me. Love their mini buffet as it's so convenient for small gatherings!

The portion was generous. Delivery came earlier than I have expected. However, some dishes were a little bit too sweet / salty. Overall still okay.
