Overall, the dishes were mostly wipe out except the noodles and rice. The drink provided is definitely too little with lotsa ice left but it's normal as my encounter with other caterers related to the same as well.

Nice, first time ordering, food delivery is punctual, and overall good experience with it.

This is my first time ordering from Meihao99. It was an overall good experience. Guests had feedbacked all dishes are nice. The food tasted nice with little msg. I will order from them again in a month's time. :)

Food portion was sufficient and the food was very delicious. My guests all commented that the food was delicious and for once, were actually willing to bring home the leftovers. Thank you Mei Hao 99 for providing such great food at an affordable price.

The food are quite nice but the quantity is quite small. However, the delivery man is not very friendly and the service is not so good.

Generally, the quality of food from Meihao99 was just mediocre. I paid $12.90/pax and from the reviews I read from foodline.sg, I had good expectation but in fact, it was quite disappointing. My guests were not impressed.

To start, the plastic drink container they used was rather dirty and old. Dirt could be seen at some edges which is gross. The fried rice with shrimps was salty but the taste was not bad. Broccoli dish was really good but the amount of broccoli was pathetic! On average, each of my 25 guests took 2 - 3 pieces of broccoli only. The herbal braised duck was not good like what most reviewers here claimed. The yam rings were not bad. I personally like their hongkong style stir-fried prawns and the dessert yam paste was the only dish my guests enjoyed and raved about.

Last but not least, I did not order assam batam fish as indicated. I changed it to fish with ginger and spring onion. I did a cash top-up for the fish with ginger and spring onion. I did not want the fish dish to be deep-fried and top up to have sheng yu slices instead. I specially requested not to have my fish deep-fried. I want to see white fish slices. When the food was being set-up, the fish is yellow in colour and obviously been "swimming in deep oil" for some time (because the fish slices were very hard and dry and we took some effort to chew) before stir-frying with ginger and spring onion.

I know how to cook this dish very well myself. Their reason that they need to coat the fish slices with flour and deep-frying to prevent the fish from breaking into small pieces, is true if fish is not fresh. But they requested for me to top-up, I should expect the fish used to be of fresher quality or does not disintegrate easily when stir-frying. This dish was a complete turn-off and many of my guests felt that the pork belly, duck, chicken, prawn dishes had been deep-fried before stir-frying with the sauces/ingredients.

So if you are okay and are not as critical as me, this caterer will do. But I will not patronise again.

It was easy placing an order through Foodline. The ratings and reviews were helpful for me. I'm glad I have chosen Mei Hao 99 Catering. The food were tasty and the setup was simple. The curry chicken was very well cooked. The dessert Sweet Yam with gingko nuts was also delicious. Irene from Mei Hao 99 sounded very pleasant and hospitable over the phone.
