Mei Hao 99 Catering

Good food. Generous portion (30 pax for a party with 20 adults and 20 kids). Good timely set up and collection of buffet set up. But caterer could do more on the decoration of the buffet set up.

Value for money! Delicious food! People asking me for the company of this caterer. They were surprised by the cost of this catering. The only down point is the BBQ pork chop. Have read bad review about their pork ribs so I tried their pork chop instead. But it is still dry and hard. The rest of the food are really nice.

The setup was done very professionally and fast. Everyone who tried the food commented that it was good and some even asked for the name of the caterer. Overall was very satisfied. Two only blemishes: the pandan chicken is quite bland and the collection of the equipment could be done at the stated time rather than earlier.

Our event started from 11-3pm but the catering came only at 12:10 (about 1.5 hour late!!!!) They were supposed to come at 10:45 to set up the table and all but when I called them at around 11 they said already on the way but didn't come after I waited a while, when I called again then they said tyre punctured, but another van was sent and on the move already, but at 11:30 still hadn't come. I keep on calling every few minutes to get update now they said the driver not familiar with the road got lost. Most of the guests have arrived and some need to leave by 12:30 but no food yet, so we felt bad for the guests that they had to wait. Finally at 12:10 they arrived and food ready to be consumed at around 12:30. At last, luckily most of the food tasted quite nice so it made up a bit for the late delivery. I hope they can be more proactive & inform us the situation earlier and not we keep chasing for update. Please improve the service!!

NICE FOOD

Told them that my buffet starts at 5:30pm and to deliver at 5:15pm. In the end, they came nearly an hour late at 6:10pm. Have also informed them to collect by 8:15pm which they said ok. By the end, they came nearly 10pm. I tried calling them but no answer. Certainly needs to review their service.

Food is good. Delivery is quite on time. Caterer followed up 3 days before event, good service.

Buffet was generally good for my baby shower. They called me twice for confirmation and follow up, was rather friendly.
Delivery guys were fast efficient and service orientated. supposed to start at 4pm, they came much earlier before 3pm and setup was completed by 3pm. A lot of my relative and friends commented great remarks on the Curry Chicken & Sweet sour pork, they wanted the caterer contact and was nice to have their brochure provide. Pls beware those fried dishes eg; tempura fish, butterfly prawns will turn soggy fast. Ordered for 40pax and we still have many leftover.
If there are function again, i will order from meihao99 again.
