Mei Hao 99 Catering

Ordered from Mei Hao as the portion was very generous and review was good at a friend's party.
However for my event the amount of food, cutlery and serviettes were barely enough and we had to rush somewhere nearby to buy more food to top up. The soursop drink was tasteless and the sea coconut was super diluted.
They could not be flexible with the delivery timing as their schedule was packed. Food arrived early thus the food was not warm.
Ordered extra stools but many were cracked and some guests got hurt.
The delivery person was friendly but quite disappointed with overall experience.

Delivery was slightly early at 5pm instead of 515pm.food was already cold when started to eat at 530pm.

According to the website photo,fruit cocktail jelly are suppose to be pieces of jelly with cocktail at the side but end up I have gotten cocktail syrup with ice.delivery man claim he got no idea on the menu. This was suppose to be dessert for the kids,end up need to spend extra money to get it from somewhere else,super disappointed.

If the photo in the website is not what was intended to be delivered,please remove it to avoid misunderstanding n disappointment.

Generous with quantity and the presentation is good but taste is a bit disappointed. Most of the dishes were too salty, especially the fried egg noodle which was already very salty and make it worse when having with the curry chicken and other dishes which were also quite salty. Food arrived very early at 6:15pm...definitely food won't taste nice when it's cold and salty.

They were very quick to take your order, to get your sales. On the actual day, my vegetable dish broccoli with scallop was replaced with broccoli with mushrooms. Even though I wasn't happy at the wrong order, I paid up still as I needed food (I only had 1 vegetable dish) and did not request for any change in dishes on the day itself.

I sent an email to Tessa of MeiHao 99 on Sunday to highlight to her the issue of being served a wrong dish but received no reply at all. Today is Wednesday, I called them to follow up. All Tessa could reply was she will "get back to you". When I asked her when she will be able to get back to me, she said "maybe end of next week" when her manager returns. I was surprised and very disappointed in her lack of initiative to acknowledge to my email. All I needed to know is if anyone is checking on why the wrong food was delivered, and if rectification could be done.

I don't recommend anyone ordering from MeiHao99. I can cook better tasting food than them.

This is my third time ordering from Mei Hao 99 over the past one year. The food used to be nice and worth the money. However, my food quality of my recent order have been compromised. The fried rice was very dry. The fish and pork was coated with quite thick layer of flour, my guests commented that they can hardly taste the meat.

Perhaps it is now time to try out other caterers.

Food was still okay. Bee hoon was plain and no taste.

Ordered an event for my housewarming on the 28th Feb 2016.
Meihao staff was punctual to setup the food by 12pm. However, staff lacks of customer service, and insisted on collection by 3.15pm.
Make simple enquiry on why the food seems little for 45 pax, and staff advised "I dunno, u must check with kitchen".

And as expected, ran out of dessert, drinks, sliced fish & pork rib.

Will not order again from Meihao.

Full setup for this event but only small piece of table cloth which can't even cover my conference table, no skirting as promised and decoration is only a pot of artificial flower which I also have and it does not create the atmosphere of CNY celebration. Before food is being setup, delivery staff keep saying he has to rush, is this my problem and also start asking for payment which previous order we paid after event is over and upon collection of caterer warmers/utensils. No small plate for Yu Sheng serving and had requested for plastic sheet to cover my meeting room carpet while doing the Yu Sheng but nothing provided as promised. If can't provide don't promised we can get ourselves. This does not show any profession in catering except want to make money business.
Previous order no table cloth/skirting and decoration so this time specifically highlighted that I must have but nothing better as promised. Very disappointed on Mei Hao 99 Catering staff on communication is very unpleasant when you highlighted what I didn't get on my first order.

The dishes are not delicious at all
