Food are very tasty and portion is just nice.

Curry taste is fantastic.

Delivery guy came and set up buffet table & food on time. Food arrived warm so didn't take too long to heat up. Solid fuel also lasted the entire event and beyond so food was hot throughout. Very commendable especially for busy festive CNY period.

Not the first time ordering from Ronnie Kitchen and won't be the last! Recommend their curry chicken, curry veg, yam paste and braised pork with buns which are my family's favourites.

Acceptable Food

The dishes can vary, on some days they are good, on certain days quite bad. The portion sizes are always good though. Some dishes are repeated all the time(eg. Fried fish: which is quite tasteless). On one occasion we received bittergourd soup, which my Husband finds yucky.

A) Fried Rice w/ Salted Fish - not able to find the salted fish. Also very dry.
b) Deep Fried Spice Pork Belly - hard & dry.
c) Sambal Sotong - very big cutting & very hard. Also, more like ketchup sotong to me.

The rest of the dishes are generally acceptable. The portion is ok & we have more than half left-over. Not sure was it due to the taste of the food that do not quite suit us.

Read many positive reviews and decided to give Ronnie Kitchen (RK) a try.

The menu selection was pretty impressive and the price was pretty good as well. Unfortunately my event was on 30th Jan 2016 and it was the exact day Ronnie Kitchen started the CNY Menu (though its rather early dont you think?). So i would therefore be paying $3 more per pax for the same food if it was any other day.

Decided to go ahead and order anyway as the date was nearing and i didnt want my event to end up with no food. So i went ahead to confirm an order for 48pax.

It took about 1 day for foodline's confirmation and i then received a call from RK to confirm my order. A very friendly lady went through the details of my order and i was allowed to re-confirm the no. of pax latest 4 days prior to the event. I felt that was pretty good. 4 days before the event RK called again for final confirmation and everything was set.

On the event day, they were punctual and prompt in setting up everything. The food looked good and most guests commented that it was pretty tasty. However, portion wise was just ok, not big in my opinion.

At the end of the event, RK came on time to clear up and the entire process was very pleasant and smooth.

Overall a good caterer, would be great value for money if not for the festive period.

The service's so good, service lady called to confirm order and adviced on space planning, timing and other issues, quite helpful for first time customer. The driver's arrived just on time and set up the whole thing properly. And the food are nice and fresh, size portion are more than enough to meet my requirement.

Overall the experience with Ronnie Kitchen was great, be it the ordering of menu, delivery of food, etc. Food was great (except the salted egg chicken was too dry and not enough salted egg) and quantity of food is quite a lot. Hence value for money.

Caterer was late, but forgiven because guests enjoyed the food!
