Spark and Flame Catering (The Flame Cafe N Spark Restaurant)

Very fast confirmation for their customer service. Very good service. Thank you Hafizah so much for finding the new york cheese cake for us, knowing that it is my hubby's favourite, went to find supplier for us when it is not available. Grilled butter prawns can be improved as it is very soft and not fresh. Other than that, everything is okay.

Fishcake and chicken pretty good, eclair okay also, but yam cake not much taste, the sauce not very nice as well. The sin chow bee hoon looks more like fried bee hoon to me.

Generally quality of food is good. Tastey.

The food is good but setup was half an hour late and also the water dispenser couldn't close properly and so it leaked. There's no more water left half way through the party. My guests had to buy drinks next door. The chinese uncle who came to setup the buffet is helpful.

Service is good despite last minute order. portion is slightly disappointing for 30pax.

Catering was scheduled to arrive at 4.30pm but only arrive at 5.30pm! It was super embarrassing as my guests were hungry with nothing to eat! Plates catered were not enough resulting in us getting plates elsewhere to help with the shortage. Worst experience ever! Had spoken to the caterer itself to lodge a complain after the event and was promised that the manager will call me back to give me a reasonable explanation but no one ever called me. Totally fail! Poor service though taste of food is not bad.

The Braised Sea Cucumber Duck is in small pieces and plenty bones. Both the fried rice doesn't taste fried.

Food was decent but the presentation was below average. All the fried items were dumped together in a tray, with no visual presentation. They didn't cater enough space for all the food items so instead of keeping the sauce separately, we had to pour it all at once which made the pasta soggy by the time it was eaten.

However, for 20 pax, there was a lot of food so they are quite generous with their serving.
