Tim Delight

I have used many caterers before but Tim's Delight was a recommendation from a friend. I tried it, and wished I had used my usual caterer.

The food arrived on time, and everything was set up proper.

I catered food enough for 50 pax, and but by the 30+ pax the food was running thin and almost empty. Unfortunately, I had a group of friends who used to work at SATS catering and asked me how many did I order for? I said 50. He told me, the amount I am given probably wouldn't last 50, it was at best good for 40 pax. The staples were more than enough for 50 though.

I was quite disappointed. Luckily for me, I had catered other high-tea menu to continue the function from 2pm onwards. Else, it would be very embarrassing.

Food were all delicious.

It was for a birthday celebration. Everyone loves it.

My family and I liked most of the dishes. The ocean catch and soft shell crab were our favourite. The adults liked the curry chicken too.

The vegetarian fried bee hoon was a little too wet and didn't go well with the curry.

Overall, we were quite satisfied with the food.

The fried rice does not have much flavour, but the dishes are still okay.

The food came on time and the guests commented that the dishes are nice especially the Soft Shell Crab and Soon Kueh.

Overall the dishes all taste great. Some logistic issues:
1. The Hot Tartar Dip for Ocean Catch was not included. Only realised after the delivery team has left and that the event has started. Highlighted to the delivery team when they are back to collect, they were unaware it was not included as well.

2. Ordered 20 pcs of stool. Did not came together with the food. Was told the stools were accidentally packed onto another van for someone else's event. Had to wait closed to an hour for it to come. My guests were standing as there were no seat for them.

Good and value for money. The menu include main course and dessert.

Overall for tis amt , to get this variety n choice is really good value The prawns was so big n delicious.

Overall, thumbs up for the caterer for this sumptuous lunch buffet for our elderly & volunteers, they enjoyed the food very much.
