Many of our guests found the cereal fish too hard to chew. On the positive side, ... More the fried rice, curry chicken, and pork rib were good. Overall, I would give it a 3/5, as the portions could have been larger. Relatives also mentioned that the prawn paste chicken looked like there was only enough for one piece per person. For comparison, we had another caterer for a birthday attended by the same group of people today, and there was still a lot of food left after the celebration. So relatives started comparing it to yesterday, as it was only one day apart. In contrast, at our housewarming with Xin Yi Pin, 90% of the food was gone halfway through, and only about 2/3 of the guests had started eating. In the end, we had to order more pizzas to cater to the 1/3 of guests who hadn’t turned up yet. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take a photo of the food as the setup arrived around 5pm+ when some guests were already here, and I was busy attending to them while some helped themselves to the food. As I was expecting the food to be ready by 5pm, I started to panic a little when I didn’t see it at 4.45-5pm. I tried calling the hotline multiple times, but no one picked up. It would be helpful if they could give us a confirmation on the actual day to reassure us or provide an alternative number to call. More water reservoir basin for the Braised Pork with Pau, as such some of the Pau got burnt by the fire underneath. I have feedback to the buffet setup team when they came down to dismantle the setup however they are in denial that all water reservoirs have been setup as they counted the number of basin collected back. I'm sure they have double stacked on of the dishes hence my Braised Pork Pau didnt have the water reservoir and got burnt. Also, the setup team came way too early to our venue. We asked the caterer to setup at 11:30am, however the team reached our venue at 9.30am. As a result our food, especially the Signature Curry Chicken was overly soft.
