Breaded fish fillet was a little soggy, so probably not a good option for buffet. It tasted ok when i airfried it at home. The tartar sauce portion was generous. Only the teriyaki chicken, takoyaki and curry was nice. The most disappointing dish was crispy seafood beancurd which we had initially thought was those crispy rectangular pieces which we get from tze char stores, but it ended up to be those yong tau foo tofu fishcake. They should have just named it tofu fishcake since it was NOT crispy at all and we did not taste any seafood in it. The portion was decent, we had some leftovers from a 30pax order for 20+ adults and 10+ children. A new pack of plates, forks, spoons, serviettes, bottle of ketchup and chili was provided, but they did not provide small bowls for the curry. Overall it is ok, just have to choose your dishes wisely. Maybe the slightly more pricer menus will have better food options. He had to remove the shrink wrap on the food containers before placing them onto the table warmers, exposing the food to the handler who was unmasked. The fire for the food warmer ... More were not lighted up. The fuel cans were just left there without being set up, leaving the food turning cold. The Spring Roll was not warm at all, not only had it lost the crispiness, but had become tough and dry, and hard to chew. Curry chicken was watery and was not of a gravy nature, more like Chili water. The chicken in the curry looked bruised and doesn’t taste fresh. The potatoes tasted like they were overnight leftovers. The portion was way too small. There were 25 people but we ordered for 30 persons. The food portion looked like they were intended for slightly more than 20 persons, except for the Sin Chow Bee Hoon which had a larger portion. The fruit cocktail was barely enough for 20 persons, some guests did not even have this, and it was mainly ice with syrup water. The lychee punch was overly sweet too. On the whole, it was quite a disappointment. There was no contact number provided by the caterer which can be contactable over the weekend, although I had requested so. Even though I emailed them subsequently, there was no reply also.
