YLS Catering

I ordered 2 main dishes of Fried rice and noodles. It came 2 trays each. Whereas the rest shortchanged. Lesser than expected. My family members dare not eat their proper share in order to have sufficient for guest. Service can be improved when feedback the amount.

Fish w/ Onion & Ginger is not good. Fruit Punch taste like plain water.
Only Braise Pork w/ Bun, Curry Chicken &Yam Paste w/ Coconut milk taste better. Others dishes taste normal.

Had a terrible experience on that event day. The vendor came later after all my guests has arrived, food are cold & the drink spilled out by the vendor during the setup. It creates a lots of inconvenience.

This is my 2nd times ordered from Foodline. But, 1st time order from YLS Catering. My guests like Fried Bee Hoon, Curry Chicken, Smoke Duck especially Yam paste with coconut milk very yummy!
But, the Fried rice and Kailan Mushroom a bit disappointed as fried rice very dry and tasteless, also kailan tasted bitter. The buffet food portion like 50-60 pax, is value for money.
Overall everything is okay!

The fried rice quantity is too little for 40pax. Half way through, we need to go out to buy more rice for our guests. The food portions for other dishes are adequate. So it's disappointing that the carbs dish is too little.

In addition, there was no setup of floral arrangements. All buffets should come with certain level of decoration. Not for YLS though. Food for thought ya.

Food was okay, but service of the back office was horrible.

Event scheduled 6.30pm. Called at 6.26pm to check on the whereabouts of the order and was put off by the personnel who said "6.30pm right? Now only 6.20pm. *smirks* Mini buffet sure 6.30pm one."

Wow. That means I should only call when the event has started and I'm busy with guests who have no food on the table?

Food portion is rather small compared to other catering. food should be labelled.cutlery nt placed in a nice manner.

Portion could be bigger given the number of pax ordered.

Was disappointed when open up the fried maggie mee.. its totally different from picture.

Food so so only. Could be better.
