YLS Catering

Not my first order. I have been repeatedly ordering from foodline. So far so good. Is just that this time collect item timing 15 minutes earlier then mentioned. No worries, will order again.

A well-balanced mini buffet—flavourful, satisfying. The smoked duck is tender, and the fried rice is fragrant without being greasy. Simple dishes done well, perfect for a small gathering.

Ordered via FoodLine and was told by YLS that only Christmas menu was available, but YLS still honour the order.

Buffet setup at 10.30am (11am start), and collected by 3pm.
Food catered was more than enough for 30 pax. Generous serving.

Every dish was palatable! And the food-warmer lasted throughout the duration.
Special thumbs up by guests for HK Mee, Thai Tofu and Braised Pork with Bun.

We ordered on 9 Dec night for 14 Dec catering. The team accepted and contacted our order on 10 Dec morning.

Pro:
- Caterer was on time / early even
- Food was great - everyone praised it!
- Portion is huge. We had to make everybody dabao the leftovers

Cons:
- Caterer didn’t contact us via WhatsApp/email prior to delivery. So if you’re a kan chiong spider like me, you’ll wonder if the caterer will even appear
- The food didn’t have any label. So our guests who don’t eat beef accidentally ate the beef

Smoke duck was nice! And the guests were happy with the foods ordered. The portion was so much that some guest had the chance to take away the remaining

Caterer delivered food in time and a good portion was given. Food is also heated up during the event and nice display was done

Good variety of dishes. Better if prawns were shelled. Portions substantial with leftovers! Dessert was good. Arrived on time at the right place with minimum fuss.

Good food portion. Food generally ok just that the sambal prawn doesn't taste fresh. Curry chicken a bit hard. The rest are ok.

Have been ordering from YLS every year and standard is usually maintained! Food was generally a hit and most guests went for repeat servings on the popular dishes.

I am extremely impressed with the overall experience. The team arrived 10 minutes early, which made the setup smooth and stress-free. All the dishes were served warm and fresh, and you could immediately tell the food was prepared with care. Every item was flavourful, delicious, and well-seasoned, earning many compliments from our guests throughout the event.

One of the highlights was the generous portion sizes. We received more than enough for everyone, with guests even going back for second and third helpings. It’s rare to find caterers who balance quality, taste, and quantity so well, but this team definitely delivered on all fronts.

Overall, I’m very satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, value-for-money catering. They truly helped make our event a success. Will definitely order again.
