Disappointing but for the price, should not expect much. Reviewed on 19th Oct 2017 Verified Purchase Decided to order YLS catering from the multiple good reviews from others and also because it's cheaper with more variety. However, the food was mediocre at best, nothing to wow about. The braised soft bone and braised pork w/ bun was very salty and ... More super oily. Cereal fish didn't have the fragrant cereal taste, on top of that it was very dry and hard. I didn't eat the prawns but my mum told me it's not very fresh, the flesh will be stucked to the shell. The worst was that for a 50 pax catering, I was only given that one small tub of fruit punch and ran out of drinks very quickly. The kailan with mushrooms and fruit punch were the only items that were cleared. Can't tell if chef was having a bad day, or my guests are picky eaters, or that the other reviewers have very low standards. This was really disappointing but price wise it's not so harsh on the pockets. To add on, they were supposed to pick up the items at 8.30pm which is 4 hours after their set up. The uncle asked if he could come back around 9pm to 9.30cm instead, I said fine, not an issue I could wait for him. But he came around 9.40pm. Did not even give us a call to inform.
