Was a bit taken aback with the vegetables in yam basket and sliced fish plus the luohan zhai. All very nua looking. Worst was the "crappy" roasted chicken really very nua. Hit was the dessert, yam paste which to me not enough and the laksa was good. The rest is mediacore. ..

The buffet was promptly set up and the portions were rather generous. Overall it was well-received with the guests.

1st time ordering and very satisfied as it turns out everything good and smooth. Got good feedback from guest that food are tasty and portion are generous. Can be better if the disposable utensils can give extra instead of exact figure. Good customer service when I call up for a small feedback. Overall , I will still recommend people to Yeh Lai Siang. Food is average, duck sauce is salty, yam ring should be standalone no need warmer and can improve further.

Delivery was prompt and the service staff is friendly. Impressed that caterer displayed the dishes label as not all caterer does this.

The Chicken Curry was rich and creamy and the Traditional Braised Duck was fragrant. Good if there are more sauces to it. Thumbs up for the Fish Glazed with Lemon Butter. Prawn Rolls was the first hit.

Do not recommend the Pork Ribs sprinkled with Diced Garlic as the meats are very very dry and tough. Suggest that for the vegetables in yam basket dish, caterer can separate the vegetables and the yam as the crispy fried yam becomes soggy due to the soaking from the vegetables sauce.

Overall, acceptable and will order again.

The portion is generous, the dishes are all delicious and service is good.
For those who is health consicious, can just request caterer for less salt and oil.

Chicken curry is thick & fragrant, very nice
Cereal prawn is very fresh, yam paste drizzled with coconut milk is very nice but the yam paste is not enough.
Their service & delivery man service is very gd.

We ordered from this caterer as my mother had tasted their food at an event a few years back. Disappointed with their food this time. The Sweet & Sour Pork Chunks were more like pork slices drenched in ketchup. The Black Pepper Fillet was extremely salty and could not be eaten. The Hainanese Mixed Vegetable look soggy and plain, much like the fried cabbages that you see accompany economic bee hoon. Only the beancurd cubes with mini prawns was any good. The portions were not large, but thankfully because the food was not that good the guests didn't take double helpings.
