Pretty disappointing with the freshness of the seafood.
Prawns was not fresh and received many feedbacks from my guests on this. Wish Yeh Lai Siang can provide explanation for this. Pretty disappointing with the freshness of the seafood.
Value for money.
Buns with stewed meat are delicious but prawns are not fresh. Overall food quite delicious and quantity sufficient.
Generally, the food is decent but the serving is rather small compared to other caterers I used to order from (e.g. Liang, Chillli Padi, CJS, Flavours and Spices, D'Fine, Lai Heng, etc..). I have ordered 35pax for 35 people and had little or no leftovers. On top of that I have also prepared cake, fishballs and rojak separately.
I must mention that items such as Yam Paste and the Vegetable dish received rather positive reviews. However, items such as prawn sauce chicken and deep fried sotong were dry and hard. While it is named plum sauce pork chop, the dish turned out to be slices of sweet and sour lean meat which taste rather similar to sweet and sour fish slices.
Like other reviewers, the set-up could need some improvement. The extra tables rented does remind one of attending a wake.

However, the delivery was earlier then expected.
