The menu items were: Steamed Glutinous Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf with Chicken Filling, Fried Hong Kong Noodle with Honey Char Siew, Traditional Cold Dish Platter, Deep Fried Fish Fillets with Special Hong Kong Sauce, Fortune 8-Treasures Golden ... More Chicken, Traditional Charcoal Roasted Duck, Thai Style Vermicelli with Braised Prawns, Auspicious Golden Jade Mixed Vegetables (Stir-Fried Celery, Yam, Pumpkin, Mushroom & Carrot), Crystal Jade Sea Treasure (incl. Sea Cucumber & Pacific Clams), 5-Flavours Sweet Dessert Soup, and Festive Nonya Kuehs. We generally do not hold very high expectations for catered CNY reunion dinners so this entire menu turned out to be surprisingly well-executed and enjoyed by the family. The only minor quibble was that the sweet potato and yam in the sweet dessert soup were under-cooked and hence quite tough.
